I had surgery on the 14th, and there wasn’t much swelling. I stayed hospitalized for one day, and even after waking up, they said there wasn’t swelling.. Ah, but the thing is, after surgery, I smoked; I really couldn’t hold back.. (I normally smoke 1 pack a day..) After surgery ended, I smoked 2 cigarettes, and the next day I was discharged and came home. Maybe because I smoke at home, I was desperately craving cigarettes.. I was scared, so I searched and posted on places like knowledge Q&A sites, and they said smoking doesn’t directly cause inflammation and things like that?..ㅠㅠ People around me who had nose surgery also said they just smoked too.. The nasal bridge was done with silicone.. Originally, they said they would tie something at the nasal tip; they said I didn’t need the nasal tip done, but I asked them to do it. They said the dorsum area is already high, so if they put something in, I’d look like Pinocchio;; so I said okay, just do the bridge, and had it done... But during surgery, they put in some kind of nasal-tip silicone?..;; I wondered what it was, but they said.. the shape comes out better than cartilage.. It’s not L-shaped silicone.. It was just some round;; flat... kind of silicone.. Honestly, I really like the shape. Right now, because of swelling, I look really like an Avatar, thoughㅡㅡ;; I like the nasal tip too.. What I’m curious about is: 1. I smoked after surgery.. I’m really going to stop smoking from tomorrow, but if I don’t smoke, will it be okay..^^; (Since whether smoking causes inflammation differs by person, I’m scared..) 2. Is there anyone who had it done with nasal-tip silicone?..ㅠㅠ I searched online, but the answer I’m curious about doesn’t come up.. Everyone here, I don’t know much about rhinoplasty ㅠㅠ This got long, but please leave comments. I’m anxious.. Even though I’m trying not to smoke.. because I used to smoke, quitting is... harder than the nose pain;;..
