I had surgery in Gangnam yesterday afternoon. I thought it would be hard to go alone, so I dragged my boyfriend along...ㅜㅜ I did get sedation anesthesia, but I woke up in less than 10 minutes, so I could feel the whole surgery process, and it was so hard... It didn’t hurt, but the fact that I could feel them cutting into my flesh, pushing in the silicone, and then sewing it back up with a needleㅠㅠ The surgery took about an hour and a half, and even after it was over I wasn’t in a lot of pain, so I leaned on my boyfriend and took the subway home fine, but from nighttime the throbbing and pain started getting worse The area under my nose where they cut keeps bleeding, and maybe because I ate dinner in a rush after starving all day, my stomach hurts so much too, and the throbbing, stinging feeling in my ears and nose hurt so much I couldn’t sleep at all ㅜㅜ I’m really spending the whole night awake except for the two-hour nap I just took earlier..... But when I woke up after sleeping, I was so swollen I couldn’t even open my eyes ㅠㅠ I normally have double eyelids, but they disappeared too, and my eyes really shrank to the size of buttonholes, while the area between my eyebrows was puffed up and red. I’m deliberately not lying down and keep my eyes open watching TV, reading, and using the computer so the swelling goes down faster, but it’s so swollen that even opening my eyes is hard;; Has anyone else had their eyes swell this badly like me? I heard the second or third day is usually the hardest and the swelling peaks then, but the pain is actually less than yesterday~ My nose is a little better now too, and my ears still throb a bit but it’s better than yesterday... But I’m so worried because of this swelling ㅠㅠ I have to go to the hospital tomorrow afternoon, but with it like this I can’t see ahead, so I’m wondering if I’ll even be able to find the hospital ㅠㅠ I live alone, so my boyfriend said he’d come every day for a week to take care of me... But when he comes after school and sees me, he’ll probably collapse ㅠㅠㅋㅋ Even I think I look really scary ㅠㅋ And right after the surgery yesterday, when I saw it, it was covered by tape so I couldn’t really tell, but I liked the shape of my nose~ It was 3.5 silicone and cartilage for the tip, and I wanted it to look natural, so I thought it hadn’t been raised too much and that it came out well~ I just needed the swelling to go down. But when I looked again today, it suddenly feels like my nose got lower;; It feels like there’s no bridge at all. It looks no different from my nose before surgery ㅠㅠ Why is it suddenly like this... is this because of swelling too? I heard lying down makes you swell, so I only sat up for a two-hour nap and I’ve been drinking lots of water and warm corn silk tea, but why am I so swollen... I had double-eyelid surgery 7 years ago, and back then I barely swelled and had no bruising, so it was easy. But this time it’s so hard Earlier this morning I lay down to sleep, but my nose was throbbing and swollen so I couldn’t breathe through my nose, so I had to breathe through my mouth. My mouth dried out really fast, my throat hurt, and it was uncomfortable trying to sleep flat on my back, so I couldn’t sleep at all ㅠㅠ I kept thinking I was crazy for spending so much money to put myself through this, and I regretted it dozens of times ㅠㅠ I’ve just been staring at the mirror and repeating the same thing It’s only been one day, so I guess I should wait longer, right? When will this bad swelling in my eyes and the swelling in my nose go down? I’m not asking for much, I just want to be able to open my eyes properly and breathe through my nose somewhat freely ㅠㅠ Maybe because I’m impatient, I’m getting anxious for no reason. Breathing only through my mouth is giving me a headache too ㅠㅠ I feel dizzy and lightheaded
