Even at a glance, there are a lot of things to criticize, but more than anything, is it normal for the silicone to show through like this? On both sides of the nasal bridge, those are not shadows. The silicone is showing through, so it is a different color from my skin. The step-off at the glabella is also severe, so the shadow falls in the opposite direction, and you can see everything protruding below the glabella. It shines white in the shape of something standing upright beside a ㄷ shape It is like a nose roughly made out of flesh-colored clay and stuck on. They say this is okay. Is that really true? Am I the only one who has become mentally distressed? It has been two months, and I still cannot go anywhere. People keep looking at me two or three times. I cannot go out unless I wear a mask and a hat. But the clinic keeps saying it is fine and tells me to wait. It has been two months now, so I probably cannot have the silicone removed now, right? I have to live like this until 6 months... I am seriously going crazy.
xxxxii Has it been like that since the splint was removed? Show-through does not change even with time. I think early removal would be better, so ask the clinic whether they can remove it for you.
mimomi [@xxxxii] Show-through is something time cannot fix, right?? It has been like this the whole time since the splint was removed. They say everything is swelling and insist I wait 6 months no matter what. They say it will improve and that in their eyes there is no problem at all. I want to remove only the silicone even now, but they say they cannot do it timing-wise because it has only been two months. Is waiting the only option?
xxxxii [@mimomi] If you are at two months, early removal also seems like it would carry a big risk. I think you may have no choice but to wait until 6 months.
mimomi [@xxxxii] That is true, but they say even the show-through looks completely fine to them and that it will improve, so I started wondering whether I am the only one being mentally unstable and oversensitive. If it were not for that, I could just pretend not to notice even the nostril deviation and live with it. People do not really look closely at someone else’s nostrils, so it is bearable in daily life. But even when I go somewhere to order or pay, everyone turns their eyes back to look again. Maybe because it is between the eyes, they end up looking again
꼬치의달인 Shouldn’t they at least add some dermis over it? It is so obviously saying, 'I. am. silicone.'...
