My double-eyelid line had become too low, and I was also starting to see signs that it might come undone, so I had revision surgery at Dress both to create a new line and to make the fixation stronger! I had revision eye surgery, ptosis correction, and lateral canthoplasty together. The director only recommended going as far as ptosis correction, but I personally wanted lateral canthoplasty too.. so I got it thinking, while I’m at it, let’s just do everything! Rather than wanting my face to change dramatically, I wanted my eyes and overall impression to look a bit clearer, and they made the line beautifully in exactly the feeling I wanted~ I debated so much over whether or not to get lateral canthoplasty, but I’m so glad I did because the slightly stuffy-looking feeling is gone! Since it was revision surgery, I was worried recovery might take longer, but maybe because I had natural adhesion, recovery was faster than I expected. I didn’t have severe bruising or swelling to begin with, so there wasn’t much difficulty with aftercare either, which was nice~ If you’re considering revision eye surgery, I recommend going for a consultation at DRS~
