I had surgery on September 19.... so today is exactly day 11... On day 9 I went to have the stitches removed, and my nose tip hurt, so when I asked why, they said it seemed like inflammation... The bridge of my nose just feels a little like there’s a foreign body in it.. (it hasn’t been that long since the surgery yet..) but the tip of my nose is throbbing and it hurts a lot when pressed.. It hurts when I talk, when I eat, and when I walk.. and it’s red too.. but.. it isn’t swollen..;;;;; There’s no pus or anything like that.. They said there was bleeding in the mucous membrane inside the nose.. So I got an antibiotic shot and have been taking my medicine properly... I also really took it properly for the week before that.._ㅜ My body type is one that’s never really known what inflammation is in my whole life.. They said if it doesn’t get better and gets worse, they’ll have to remove it. I haven’t told people around me that I had nose surgery.. I just said I got an injection.. I really want to avoid revision surgery no matter what... With all these thoughts, I can’t focus on work at all..._ㅜ Is inflammation in the nose common? They say it’s only 1 to 5%. And if there is inflammation.. is it uncommon for it to get better with just medicine? Is inflammation really the reason everyone gets it removed.... I like the shape of my nose. The bridge has 2 mm silicone, and the tip was done with ear cartilage.. But after the inflammation, the doctor said.. that there was silicone in the tip of my nose too, to make the shape look pretty.. Before surgery, they never said anything like that.... If anyone recovered with medication after inflammation, please leave a comment.. And if you didn’t recover and had to get revision surgery, please leave one too...... I’m going to the hospital again tomorrow, and if they say the progress is not good, I really think I’ll go crazy.... But is it supposed to be like this... the swelling is 계속 going down (like swelling after surgery goes down...) Is it normal for the inflamed area not to swell and only hurt?? I can’t even sleep tonight...... And also... I heard that inflammation that appears within 10 days after surgery mostly happens because of a mistake during surgery. Is that true??
