I’ve heard that if you’re going to have surgery, you need to do both eyes, but do they also use different surgical methods for the left and right sides?? Like skin excision on the left, and a two-line method on the right. I’m wondering if it’s okay to do them differently. At the clinic, they say it in a way like they’ll only know after looking closely during surgery, but it feels uncomfortable to go into surgery when the surgical method hasn’t been decided.
명반 If the conditions are different, the surgical methods can differ on each side too. And some doctors say it’s more convenient to do only one side, while others say you definitely have to do both sides, so look into it carefully.
재수술실타 [@명반] My eyes are an extreme case I’m in a condition where I need to do both eyes, and one eye has an asymmetry where the line is higher. So for the higher side, the options have been divided into 1. skin excision 2. a method combining the two-line method and skin excision 3. the two-line method. Of the 2 places I narrowed it down to, one let me choose whichever method I wanted between skin excision and the two-line method, and at the other remaining place, they mentioned skin excision on one side and the two-line method on the other, but they said it could change during surgery, so I’m anxious. I was wondering if people normally go into surgery like this when it hasn’t been decided.
