One-Month Review of My Returned Philtrum Reduction (Inner/Outer + Mouth Corners + Philtrum Dimple)

<Bare face before going to the clinic at one month><Right after laser treatment at the clinic at one month; I got injections too, so there was even bleeding><With makeup about two days after laser + injections><Mouth-corner comparison with makeup on (after the swelling from the injection that was sticking out went down, it was barely noticeable with makeup)><Bare face (I had ointment on, so it came out a bit faint in the photo, but it’s more visible than this)><Bare-face mouth corners still with white scars (a little worse in real life than in the photo)><In order: before / 7 days after surgery / one month. The nostril widening feels about 80% recovered, and the philtrum got much shorter, so I’m satisfied>Hello everyone I wrote my 3-week review last time and came back with a one-month review First of all, compared with week 3, it’s slowly getting better! The scars, firm lumps, and mouth opening have all improved little by little Of course, it still feels like there’s a long way to go Also, I went to the clinic at one month for scar care! I got Fraxel (probably) laser and scar injections, and they did the laser without anesthesia Tears just automatically streamed down... After the laser, I got the injections, and the injections didn’t even hurt^^ because the laser hurt so much.... They said they usually don’t give anesthesia... It hurts a lot, but the area is small and it’s not something I get often, so I’m going to just try it for now. If the effect is good, what can’t I endure..^^ There were a few Fraxel scabs, but they disappeared quickly. Maybe because the area is so narrow I’m not sure about the laser effect yet The injection was done on the right mouth corner, which was worse, and the slightly bulging part definitely seems to have gone down a bit, though the white color is still there Maybe because my lips are swollen, when I wear makeup and go about my day, by the afternoon my lips get extremely dry, and even if I apply lip balm, a lot of flaking comes up. So lip product keeps getting caught in the scar area, and around then it becomes a bit more noticeable Now, even with makeup, it still shows a little, but compared with the beginning, it has improved a lot Considering the clinic also said scars, lumps, mouth opening, and so on need at least 6 months, this really is a surgery that takes a long time My philtrum and lips are still firmly swollen, so there’s still nostril widening too With makeup, I can cover it so it looks a bit less visible, but bare-faced, it still obviously looks like lines cut with a knife, so that bothers me a bit If my bare face fades to about how it looks now with makeup on, I’ll consider it a success haha. I wonder how long it’ll take For the next reviews, I’ll come back at one-month intervals now, since I don’t think there will be a big difference over 1-2 weeks anymore I’ll drop by now and then when I’m bored. Let’s all have successful surgeries!!

This review is for a surgery review pursuing a natural look.
