Nose Surgery Reviews

Review of surgery for a very severe hooked nose (autologous costal cartilage)

I had a really severe hooked nose, but now it’s completely smooth. Satisfaction 100%. I just hope the nasal wound heals quickly. The photos are completely unedited. I only covered my eyes and mouth. The representative photo is the most recent one, and I had autologous costal cartilage, osteotomy, and nasal tip correction? Something like that. Honestly, I decided right after my second consultation, so I don’t have much knowledge about plastic surgery. My nasal bridge was already quite high, so I asked them to make it smooth and lifted while shaving down the bridge as little as possible. Maybe because of that, I barely had any swelling, and I had no bruising at all. I guess I was really lucky? I usually swell easily, so I was worried.. I’m relieved. I had surgery on 6/28, and the area where they harvested the autologous costal cartilage hurt a lot for a few days, but now it’s almost fine, so today I even did some light lower-body exercise. The people I work with made such a fuss, saying it looks really natural. My family made a fuss too, and when we eat together, they only stare at my nose. These days, I live for the joy of looking in the mirror. I just wonder why I worried and put it off. I should have done it when I was even a year younger. For reference, I’m not bragging, but my eyes are big and my forehead protrudes, so my original face was already on the flashy side, which is why I just asked for my nose to be made high too. The director also said he’d take care of it, so I trusted him and left it to him. If the response is good, I’ll try posting the clinic information and a few more photos.
