Even until one day after getting the abdominal fat procedure, I felt so completely fine that I wondered if this was normal. Right after the procedure, I had no bruising and almost no pain. It was fine even when I tensed my abdomen, and I had no problem walking. But the next morning, as soon as I woke up and looked in the mirror, bruising started to appear little by little. At first it spread lightly, then gradually became darker, and after a day or two, deep purple bruising spread mainly along the sides and lower part of my abdomen. The bruising looked blotchy, almost like a contusion, and there was also a slightly swollen feeling, so my abdomen looked more protruded than before. The pain is not throbbing or severe. When I press on it, there is a heavy, aching feeling, and my whole abdomen feels sore and stiff. When I move or tense my abdomen, it feels slightly tight. I especially feel it clearly when getting up after lying down or standing up after sitting. When I suddenly laugh hard or cough, my abdomen tenses and hurts a little. I still cannot do strenuous exercise. Running or exercises that stimulate the abdomen are obviously impossible, and these days I am just walking very carefully. I am mainly taking walks while trying not to sweat as much as possible and avoiding sunlight. If I do not move, it feels like the stiffness gets worse, so I am trying to do at least a minimal amount of activity. As the treated area recovers, the itchy sensation is also getting stronger. At first it was just a slightly strange feeling, but these days the itchiness has become quite strong. Even though I want to scratch it with my hand, it is a bruised area, so I cannot touch it. I heard that touching it unnecessarily can make the swelling worse, so I am just enduring it. It feels like something is regenerating inside, and the itchy yet very slightly prickly sensation keeps bothering me. I looked it up online and saw that it is a sign that the fat cells are recovering, so I am not too worried. They say it will still take a few more weeks for the swelling and bruising to go down, but so far I am recovering better than expected, so I am satisfied. I am continuing to monitor my condition and keep a record.
