Eye Surgery Reviews

My eyes were kind of ambiguous, but I had them revised so they look wide open

I originally had double eyelids, but because my impression looked too faint, I had lower blepharoplasty with fat repositioning along with incisional double eyelid surgery and ptosis correction ㅇㅇ I used to think lower blepharoplasty with fat repositioning was only for people whose under-eye fat protruded, but apparently it can also be done in cases like mine where there isn’t enough under-eye fat and the area around the eyes looks sunken? When I was considering fillers, an acquaintance strongly advised against fillers and told me to look into lower blepharoplasty with fat repositioning, so that’s why I researched it. It’s done through an incision inside the eye, so there are no visible scars..ㅇㅇ In photos, the hollowing doesn’t look that severe, but my dark circles were worse, and everyone I met would ask if something bad had happened because I looked that tired.. I did incisional double eyelid surgery and ptosis correction because the double eyelid lines on both sides were different, and my eyes looked faint, so I wanted them to look more defined. Non-incisional double eyelid surgery plus ptosis correction can only be done if the skin is thin, and my skin is on the thicker side, so I had to do it with an incision.. But with an incision, it can be fixed more firmly, so that was okay. It’s just that reducing swelling takes a bit longer than with the non-incisional method After some time passed, the swelling has been going down well, but it’s only been about two months, so there’s still some residual swelling. On day 3, when the swelling was at its worst, cold compresses were truly essential. The double eyelid swelling was intense, and the lower blepharoplasty with fat repositioning area felt tight.. Then after about a week, it was more like tightness under the eyes, and the bruises had turned yellow. The area where I had ptosis correction kept having a tingling sensation. Until then, I couldn’t wear makeup and had to wash my face carefully. After stitch removal, it became more bearable, but the lower blepharoplasty with fat repositioning was still a bit uncomfortable After over a month, it started looking somewhat okay, but I still have some residual swelling, so I’m taking walks every day to help it go down.. The residual swelling goes down really gradually, but it’s settling into place well, so I’m relieved

This review is for a surgery review pursuing a natural yet refined look.
