I had double eyelid surgery before, but one side came undone, so I looked into revision surgery. There were a lot of reviews from people who had it done together with canthoplasty..? But I didn’t want canthoplasty, so I searched for clinics with the mindset that I wouldn’t get it. Since most reviews were about doing it together, I just had consultations at two clinics my friend told me about. The clinic where I only had a consultation said it would probably look prettier if I did canthoplasty too, and the place where I had surgery was a private clinic run by a female director. After checking my eye shape, the thickness of my eyelid skin, and the fat, she said we should just reset the line without canthoplasty. Since I already didn’t want canthoplasty, I just got the surgery at the second clinic haha I had the surgery with the buried suture method, without canthoplasty, and I told them I wanted a natural-looking line. Now that all the swelling has gone down, it seems to have settled naturally without asymmetry? haha Personally, I’m really satisfied. Since this is a private clinic, there may be a bit of a wait if you go without an appointment! I think it’s probably because the director takes a long, thorough look during each person’s consultation?! If you’re thinking of going, I recommend making an appointment in advance~!!
