A review I’m posting for myself!! (for record-keeping) Partial incision, medial epicanthoplasty, fat removal -> stitch removal, non-incisional double eyelid surgery, upper epicanthoplasty They contacted me the day before surgery and said that due to the director’s personal circumstances, my 12:00 surgery / 10:00 arrival could be changed to a 3:00 surgery / 2:30 arrival. I was in front of my senior, so I just said yes, yes and hung up, then asked by text why, but they didn’t answer the reason. They said all the morning appointments had been pushed back. By text, they said there were surgeries scheduled before and after mine, and that mine had been delayed. When I asked if there were any open dates soon, they said there weren’t... haha They didn’t offer any service, discount, or any kind of compensation from the clinic. (Later, when I asked if there was no compensation from the clinic, they gave me 1 swelling laser session.. haha I guess they didn’t mention that separately either, because I had to make the reservation separately at the front desk) On the day of surgery, when I went there and said my name at the front desk, two people made eye contact and smirked (It felt like “she’s that one”... even if it sounds paranoid, it still made me feel bad) After paying, washing my face, changing clothes, and waiting, someone other than my assigned consultant came in and explained things like surgery precautions and had me sign everything. While doing that, I asked whether I still had to write all the reviews even though it was being delayed like this. I said I hadn’t known about writing reviews. Then I said that if so, since the delay was also true, I would write all of that in the review. I also asked whether I had to do it in two places. The consultant went outside, talked with someone, then came back and said I wouldn’t have to write the reviews. Later, my assigned consultant came again and said they would also destroy the consent form or pledge about portrait rights or whatever. And while I was waiting, I saw the schedule displayed, and there were no appointments before or after mine. It seemed like I was the only surgery. (I’m not certain) After waiting for sooooo long like that, they said the director was stuck in traffic~ would be here soon~ but I waited quite a long time. The director came and did the design, and before going into the operating room, I waited for a looooong time again. So I went into surgery at around 4:12? and it was over around 4:40. After surgery, I received the explanation, made the appointment, and left. They had said that on that day they would only check the progress and do swelling care. When I called again to ask, they said they would remove the stitches that day too. (They could have told me when the upper epicanthoplasty stitches would be removed. What, do I have to ask every single time to be told...) Three days passed like that, and I got a text from my assigned consultant. They said that before the director’s check, they needed to see photos, so I should take pictures of my eyes, mark right and left, and send them. So I took the photos diligently and sent them, but I thought I’d end up seeing the director on the day I came in, you know? But the person who guided me through stitch removal and eye care said it was the same whether the director looked or they looked, and since the swelling hadn’t gone down, checking the progress later would be more accurate, and that if I wanted to see the director, I’d have to wait more than an hour and a half, so they told me to just go home, and I came home. (I had nothing to do anyway, so I should’ve just waited and had the follow-up consultation lol) The surgery was delayed, the design was done in a rush, and it seemed like the director also came in a rush. Even if the eye results turn out well, I think this unsettled feeling will remain, so I had been trying to change the surgery schedule... I had said from 3 months before that I really wanted to do it on that date at that time, and booked it... For now, I’m still watching the swelling! The bumpiness on the previous line hasn’t disappeared, and the line at the end is dug in straight... For now, I’ll keep watching it!
