I had same-day implant-free surgery at VN, and I chose this place because I wanted to do my eyes and nose together! (+I liked all the VN implant-free reviews) For reference, an extremely, extremely, extremely natural look is my goal, and it might be hard to understand, but I wanted it to look subtle, like I had something done but also like I hadn’t lol haha. My original nose had a pretty shape, but it was very low and small, so I had consultations with the idea of just slightly improving the height. I also went to a few more consultations out of courtesy, but I was just drawn to this place (I don’t know why.. after looking at the reviews, I guess their aesthetic goal seemed similar to mine) First of all, it was a closed approach, so recovery was fast, and I also liked that they didn’t put in nasal packing. I had no bruising, bleeding, or pain at all Honestly, I thought they were using septal cartilage too, but when I went in today and talked to them, they said septal cartilage wasn’t used..? Apparently this surgery itself only uses ear cartilage I found out after the surgery.. Since they didn’t touch the septum, that’s good functionally, but because it’s ear cartilage, I’m so anxious that it might get absorbed later I really like the current height and angle... The director said it probably won’t be absorbed, but that varies from person to person, so I’ll only know after time passes.. Originally, they operated by placing only ear cartilage on my nasal tip without building a support strut in the tip, but could it later get absorbed or droop a lot and become lower? If anyone knows, please answer.. Anyway, I’m on day 5 now, and I just had the splint removed and came home. I like the line, angle, and height...
