10-month review of revision rhinoplasty with autologous dermis I can’t believe it’s already been 10 months.. Before the surgery and after the surgery, I used to think about my nose all day long haha, but now my nose is no longer on my mind lol I used to worry that something might go wrong with my nose, but now I’m living without worrying about it At first, the bridge of my nose turned red because of calcification, so I worried it might not go away I even worried whether I’d need laser treatment, but now it has almost disappeared They say autologous dermis gets absorbed a lot, and the bridge of my nose was so high that people could call it an Avatar nose But now it has mostly been absorbed, and I’m very satisfied There’s no pulling sensation from silicone When I touch my nose, it feels soft and squishy Is this what a natural nose feels like?? I was uncomfortable because I could feel the silicone and it felt like something was placed on top Now I feel freed! Thoughts on the shape Honestly, the shape of my nose wasn’t important to me As long as I could remove it and go back to my own nose, I could live with a low nose I was worried because the bridge was absorbing slowly, but now it seems almost absorbed, and it’s not too high, so I like it Since I value naturalness, I’m satisfied The importance of rhinoplasty When getting your first surgery, I really hope you research a lot before doing it (Actually, just don’t do it! You’re prettiest now, and you can live comfortably!) There may be people who get their first surgery and live with that nose forever But like me, you might need revision surgery, so think carefully! (I’m strongly trying to stop people around me) What I’m satisfied with The shape came out prettier than I expected (NewJeans Haerin’s nose is pretty haha) This shape still feels a bit unfamiliar, but.. These days, I especially like how natural the nasal tip shape looks I think the final shape will appear once I reach the 1-year mark! Products I used Food I cut down on spicy, salty, and greasy foods After taking the medicine given by the hospital after surgery From week 1, I took Danggui Suseon for 2 weeks (Rather than for swelling, since both my nose and buttocks were cut open, I took it to help them heal well. Search up the effects! They said rhinoplasty is basically the same as getting into a car accident..) Supplements I thought collagen might help, so I took it consistently for a month Showering I bought a shampoo cap and washed my hair with it, and for washing my face, I bought a bubble cleanser and used that I wiped with a sea sponge For scar ointment, I used Dermatix Ultra I used sterile cotton swabs and saline to clean the wound or when the inside of my nose felt stuffy *Autologous dermis buttocks* There weren’t many reviews, so I didn’t really know, but since they cut dermis from the buttocks and put it into the nose, I just thought they would take it from the tailbone area. But it was between the buttocks, so it was really hard It could burst while driving, and about two of the sutured areas opened up, so it was difficult, and the scar is also severe At first, I applied scar ointment diligently, but later I stopped applying it.. Everyone should apply it diligently Especially around the bikini line! It shows more than I expected, so I regret not applying the ointment well I wrote down what came to mind There were fewer reviews of autologous dermis than I expected, so I’m leaving this here If you have any questions, ask me!
