I’d never been told I had an ugly face in my life, but the thing I was always unhappy with was my face shape. My facial line looked uneven and unattractive, so after worrying about it for a long 2 years, I finally set a date and had my face contoured. First of all, for people looking into facial contouring, I recommend thinking about it for a long time before getting the surgery.. Having experienced it myself, this is definitely not a surgery to take lightly. In reviews here and there, people say things like it was more manageable than expected, or it didn’t hurt much, but it made me wonder if they really had it done properly. They’re shaving bone, so how could it not hurt.. lol But if the surgery turns out well, it’s true that happiness comes after the pain. You just have to endure well until that happiness comes, and even though that isn’t easy, if you have serious concerns about your face shape, I really hope you think about it seriously and then get the surgery. I’ve always liked a sharp-looking face. I was bothered by the protruding part beside my cheekbones and the way my chin tip looked a bit blunt, so during the consultation I told the director that I wanted to do both the cheekbones and chin tip. The director said that if I only did the cheekbones and chin tip, the area connecting the two could look awkward, so he suggested slightly refining the area in between too? For me, even when I leave my car for repairs or go to a hair salon, I tend to listen to the expert, so I said okay. He also explained it well. After surgery.. I stayed in the hospital for one day, then went home to recover, and on day three maybe? My face looked like it had taken a legendary 17-on-1 beating. Since I’ll probably never see a face like that again in my life, I did take a few photos, but I’m not posting them lol My friends saw it too and said I looked like a huge swollen toad lololol I was told to wear the compression band for a month, but because of the swelling, even wearing it was hard at first. But after about a week, I got used to it. I went back to work from week 2, and I heard warm compresses were good, but I’m not the type to prepare every little thing like that, so I just went on lots of walks whenever I had time. Sleeping with my head elevated was a given.. Anyway, if you’re looking into surgery, I think it’s even better to look into facial contouring with extra patience. I did suffer too, but my satisfaction itself is high. My facial line really became clean, so I look much more refined. It wasn’t shaved down extremely dramatically either, so I think it looks natural too..
