I had incisional double eyelid surgery 10 years ago, but over time the line became thinner. So I got revision surgery at the same hospital, with a different doctor, to raise the line using the incisional method, but a problem occurred. This awful doctor did ptosis correction on only one eye during surgery without discussing it with me, and the fixation on that side is especially deep. According to him, the strength with which my eyes open was different, so he only did a slight ptosis correction, and he said it was an eye that could come undone if the fixation wasn’t deep. But even though my previous double eyelid had become thinner, it had never come undone even once. In the end, now only one side has complete mucosal eversion, and the line is thicker too, so it’s way too noticeable when I take photos or videos. I said it looked strange from the beginning, but back then he said it was because of swelling and that if there was still a difference after the swelling went down, he would match it again. It’s been 6 months now, and the difference is still severe. Based on what he said, I think they’ll probably provide AS, but I never want to be treated by that doctor again. If I argue that ptosis correction was done without my consent, would a refund be possible? Would it be better to go to the clinic in person and confront them, or should I bring it up on KakaoTalk first?
쉐하 I don’t think they’ll even properly read KakaoTalk. I think you’ll have to go in person... But even if they provide AS, I doubt they’ll give a refund.
