I got my stitches removed and the tape taken off today. They changed the cast too.. whoa... but they did squeeze something out. Like the person below.. ㅋ Having the nasal stitches removed takes more time and stings more than stitches from other surgeries. And they removed what had been left inside my nose, and my nose felt so refreshingly clear that for a little while, every time I breathed it felt stingy. My nose isn’t very uncomfortable, so if the wound heals well, I think things will go smoothly. The height might be a little disappointing.. but as long as the swelling goes down and it doesn’t end up looking much lower, I don’t think there’d be a reason to do it again. The problem is that my right jaw is badly swollen.. (the spot that gave me so much trouble before.. I really don’t even want to think about it because it was such a pain ㅋ) Pain from swelling can be dealt with by not touching it, but the gum area keeps aching, hurting, and feeling irritating. So I went in early this morning on purpose, even though I had an appointment in the afternoon, and got examined. On the way back, I brought the prescription and asked the pharmacist for a painkiller stronger than Tylenol, so I bought one.. Still, the good thing is that the doctor said the swelling was less than he expected.. maybe walking really does help.. The bruising is also starting to fade; besides the yellow bruise under my eye, most of the blue color has gone down. My right jaw hurts especially badly today.. ㅜ I’ll stop here, take the painkiller, and rest. It’s a messy update, but I hope it helps.
