I chose standard LASEK because it is the oldest type of surgery and seemed like it would be safe. I thought it would hurt, but it just felt like the dry state continued even when I closed my eyes. It was tolerable enough. As for glare and night blindness, maybe I’m just insensitive, but I don’t really notice them. I like that I can save the money I would have spent on contact lenses and don’t have to take lenses out and put them in every morning and evening. I have no regrets.
