For reference, mine is a revision case, and I excluded clinics that only do very natural-looking noses. ㅍㄹㅇㅂ Silicone, autologous costal cartilage, bulbous nose correction, short nose correction, hump osteotomy I didn’t know I had a hump, but they said there is a slight one, so to make the nose shape without a step-off, I would need an osteotomy.. They said ear cartilage is weak for a support role, so we should support it with costal cartilage, and although they would recommend donated costal cartilage if it were a primary surgery, since it’s revision surgery, autologous costal cartilage would be more advantageous (the director said that). They shape the nose closer to a natural-but-glamorous style. The consultant felt like she spoke more according to a prepared script than in a highly specialized way. Price-wise, it was reasonable, but the nose shape was more glamorous than I expected.. The tip too, but I was surprised because they said they would raise the bridge a lot. Since it’s revision surgery, they said they would use autologous costal cartilage because I didn’t want to use donated costal cartilage and feel anxious. The director shaped the nose for me and explained each material one by one, and leaving the materials aside, the nose shape was so my style.. It seemed like they balance the space between natural and glamorous really well. They drew on top of iPad photos while shaping the nose. The price was reasonable too, so after finishing all the consultations, I made my final decision here... Honestly, I seriously agonized over whether to do autologous costal cartilage, but I decided not to do donated costal cartilage as I first thought and regret it later, and to go with autologous costal cartilage! I didn’t put down deposits at all of them from the start; I visited all the places, thought it over, and then put down a deposit! And for the surgery date, there were many days I couldn’t do so it was a bit of a struggle, but thankfully the clinic accommodated me, so it’s set for the date and time I wanted..... Because it’s revision surgery, I’m really nervous, but I’m going to wait while trying to have as few negative thoughts as possible during the remaining time..
