Liposuction Reviews

Review of abdominal liposuction and pelvic fat grafting

I had abdominal liposuction and pelvic fat grafting around last winter, so now it has almost fully settled. I spent 2 years just thinking about it, so I’ll share a bit of the history of why I ended up having surgery! I tend to carry fat in my abdomen. Especially when I sat down, the fat in my lower abdomen didn’t just fold, it would roll up, and my pelvis was almost flat^^;; Even if my waist looked slim in clothes, I had no pelvic volume, so the fit looked plain I tried exercise and dieting, but my belly fat only came off to a point, and my pelvis was honestly a structural issue, so it couldn’t be solved with exercise... After looking at reviews on communities/apps and going to consultations at 3 places, I decided on a place whose main focus was liposuction but that was also known for good fat-graft survival rates. On the day of surgery, I had sedation anesthesia, so I don’t remember much. I woke up in the recovery room and felt more or less okay, but from day 3, my body felt stiff and the swelling went up like crazy, so my movement was limited. I couldn’t straighten my waist, my walking posture was awkward, and I couldn’t even sleep lying on my side My abdomen felt heavy and my pelvis felt stiff, so when I sat down, I stacked several pillows to make a position and barely managed to sit.. I wore the compression garment for 12 hours after surgery, and for about 1 week my abdomen kept feeling stiff and numb. For my pelvis, the grafted area couldn’t be pressed, so I properly set up a cushion whenever I sat down, and changing positions back and forth was difficult. Honestly, at that time I regretted it a bit and was really shaken mentally. But as I received aftercare at the clinic and had radiofrequency treatments and massages, I could see the swelling gradually going down, so I felt a little relieved. Mind control is important at this stage! For 1 month, I basically lived as if I wasn’t myself? I guess it can’t be helped because the recovery process is necessary My abdomen became slimmer than before, and because my belly fat no longer rolls up when I sit, it’s more comfortable. After surgery, my pelvis gained three-dimensional volume, and I could see the line forming naturally, so I like it!! Until 3 months, I lived while acting a bit carefully! Most of the major swelling and minor swelling had gone down, so it felt like my actual line had settled, and my pelvis wasn’t hard or bumpy! I started Pilates and yoga again from then, and I think I kept trying to maintain it while managing myself. The photos are the ones I took up to week 16, and now it feels so natural and like my own body that I forget when I even had surgery! Every time people see me and say I lost weight or that my clothes fit better, I feel so good. Before surgery, I couldn’t even wear leggings or slacks, but now I wear them a lot, and my confidence has gone sky-high lol I don’t get stressed when I look in the mirror anymore Looking back now, it was really hard at the time, but I’m so satisfied that I think I’m glad I did it! When choosing a clinic, it will definitely help to get consultations at many different places. Look carefully at how they explain compression-garment wear after surgery, posture management, aftercare, and massages, and you also have to keep in mind that the speed at which swelling goes down and the survival rate of grafted fat vary a lot from person to person. I hope you don’t think you must get surgery no matter what, but seriously think it over and decide:)
