<My eyes before><My eyes now after surgery>Honestly, I’m someone who thinks that more than 70% of beauty standards depend on the eyes. When you look at pretty celebrities, their eyes all look open and big.. So ever since I was young, I was always stressed that only my eyes looked oddly small and stuffy. Shouldn’t I just get four-way canthoplasty?? >> I don’t recommend it I wanted to do it too. But they said that if your eyes are somewhat deep-set like mine, it’s better to only do the canthoplasty procedures that are necessary for your structure. They explained structurally why my eye shape looked blocked and recommended medial epicanthoplasty and upper canthoplasty, so I figured it would be a win if I had surgery on fewer areas and still got a good result. I kept insisting, but in the end I listened. The director also examined me carefully, and overall.. lol This is just my personal standard, so please only take it as a reference. What was uncomfortable after canthoplasty >> eye stinging For me, my eyes stung a little until week 2. But it’s not like I could just pour in a ton of artificial tears, so just enduring it is the answer. From around week 3, it got better, so I forgot about it and lived just fine. Once the swelling went down to some extent, I saw that the front and upper part of my eyes had opened naturally, so my pupils show much better than before and my eyes look more open. I think I did well. Medial epicanthoplasty is one thing, but I think the upper canthoplasty is what makes my eyes look even more open. During the consultation, I really couldn’t understand why they wouldn’t let me get the four-way canthoplasty I wanted, but now I’m seriously so grateful;; Everyone, think carefully too and only get canthoplasty on the areas you actually need. Even if it’s not four-way canthoplasty, I think it can be enough to decisively open just the necessary spots haha
