I saw a lot of reviews saying they were kind, but my consultation wasn’t great... I’m having revision surgery for incisional ptosis correction and lowering the line. Maybe because the place where I liked the consultation had a somewhat high price, HN actually felt cheaper when same-day booking and review discounts were combined, so I didn’t really feel it was expensive compared with the rumors...(incisional ptosis correction, double-line removal, fat grafting were under 4 million won) At HN, they said it looked like I’d need work on the scar from the upper canthoplasty and double-line removal, and that I absolutely needed micro fat grafting to prevent overlapping creases... The director at the hospital where I had my first surgery said it would be good to do micro fat grafting, but at all the other places I visited for consultations, they said it wasn’t needed right now and that it was a later issue; if overlapping creases formed later or if there were symptoms of sunken eyes, then I might do it at that time, or there was even a director who was startled and said I was absolutely not in a condition that needed it now... I’m scared of fat grafting to the upper eyelid, so I asked the HN director about side effects and such. The director got somewhat irritated, saying what HN does is micro fat grafting, but I was acting like I knew it as just fat grafting, so I was really flustered;;; At the beginning of the consultation, the director reacted by saying the director at my first-surgery hospital had done a completely unreasonable design, like “How could a doctor design it like this?” Maybe because I looked rather reluctant when I heard I needed micro fat grafting, they also said things like, “Didn’t other hospitals tell you that you need it? Then those directors have no skill”... So I said the director at my first-surgery hospital said it would be good to do it, but the other hospitals all said I wasn’t in a condition that needed it now. Then the reaction changed to, “Then the director at your first-surgery hospital must be skilled too?? Are they older?? But why did they design it like this??”... (But the director who did my first surgery was young and had only a short career as a board-certified plastic surgeon lol Everyone, please don’t just look at years of experience; make sure to check when they obtained their specialist certification too) And then they started blaming me, asking why I was greedy for such a high line when it was my first surgery... lol It was my first time seeing a director blame the patient like this hahahahaha I got hurt once more here... (Isn’t it the specialist’s role to judge whether that design is possible or impossible;;; It’s not like I demanded it be higher when they said it couldn’t be done; I just thought the line the director initially set for me must be right and got surgery as is;;;) And although the director asked if I had any questions, when I actually asked, they seemed rushed and felt like they wanted to end the consultation quickly, so I thought this place wasn’t it for me and just said okay and left.. My eyesight is bad, so I wear glasses, but maybe because adhesion has already formed at the current high line and even if they drew a line it wouldn’t be visible anyway, they didn’t even ask me to take off my glasses, just looked at photos and explained. As for how much and how they would lower it, it was just like they would decide during the design on surgery day... And because I heard things like my current surgery would be extremely difficult, the first hospital had made a completely unreasonable design, and even for the director with lots of experience it would be a difficult surgery, my anxiety only increased (Other hospital directors also said the surgery was on the difficult side and had a lot to pay attention to, but most directors said it was a commonly done double-line removal, and since I hadn’t had it many times but was just having revision surgery, I shouldn’t worry too much. The director at the hospital I liked said it depends on the person, but they had done many cases like mine with weak eye-opening strength, so it would be easy for them.) Everyone, don’t go to consultations with expectations that are too high just from YouTube or good reviews Are there people here like me who were told at HN that they needed micro fat grafting, but at other hospitals were all told they weren’t in a condition that needed it???
