I had my first surgery with septal cartilage 11 years ago, and my second surgery with donated costal cartilage 6 years ago. For the second surgery, I did it because I wanted a slightly higher nose, but after the surgery was over, my nose ended up excessively high. That’s not the only problem. As time passed, the implant started showing through, and although it’s hard to see inside my nose, something like cartilage? is protruding, so I can barely breathe through one side. Even when I sleep, I have to turn to the right side to be able to sleep. The hospital’s response was that my nose isn’t narrowed to that extent and that revision surgery wouldn’t be meaningful, and they said the implant shows through because my skin is thin.. I had already lost trust anyway, so I had no intention of having revision surgery at that hospital, but it was really emotionally hard.. If I have surgery this time, it will be my third surgery.. I’m thinking of it as the last surgery of my life Is there really a director who is good at revision surgery?? The shape matters too, but functionally it’s so difficult.. Even when I meet people around me, I only talk about my nose now, so I feel like I might develop social avoidance… If you know a director who is good at nose surgery, please definitely recommend them
