6 Months After Revision Rhinoplasty~ Now It Feels Like My Original Nose!!

Time really flies.. It’s already been about 6 months since the surgery, and these days I sometimes even forget that I had revision surgery lol. I think that’s exactly how naturally the nose has blended into my face..! Honestly, I worried a lot about revision surgery at first too. The result of my first surgery wasn’t exactly ruined, but as time passed, the line became less defined, and especially the nasal tip felt a bit blunt and somehow lacked definition..? I remember my side profile bothered me more than the front view in photos The bulbous nose feeling remained as it was, so my overall face had a heavy-looking impression. For my first surgery, I think I mostly chose the hospital based only on price, and the result was just okay at best, nothing more. The nasal bridge was ambiguous too, and the silicone was thick, so in bright lighting the border showed, which bothered me subtly; as my disappointment kept growing over time, I eventually started looking into revision surgery! This time, I really carefully went to consultations at several hospitals, and after consulting with Director Choo Sung-cheol at D-Day, I just got the right feeling. At other hospitals, they often only said things like, “It’ll turn out pretty~,” but here, they clearly said what could definitely be done and honestly said no to things that were uncertain, so I actually felt more reassured. Because they spoke realistically without just inflating expectations, I trusted them. At first I thought I might be a little shy and have trouble asking questions, but it was nice that I could comfortably ask about everything haha. For the surgery, I had bulbous nose correction, nostril reduction, and hump correction all at once, and honestly I was worried whether it would be okay to do all of that. But looking at my current condition, I really want to praise myself for deciding back then lol. Now the nasal tip is much sharper, the nasal tip shape is clean enough to be visible even from the front, and the nasal bridge connects smoothly, so my side profile is honestly my favorite part! These days, people around me often tell me the overall atmosphere of my face has changed. At about 6 months, the swelling has definitely almost all gone down, and it’s settling well, so it even feels like this was just my original face. Especially when I do my makeup, seeing the nose shape stand out on its own even without highlighter makes me so happy They say your own eyes are usually stricter than other people’s, right? But even to my eyes now, my nose is pretty enough, so my satisfaction is high
