Eye Surgery Reviews

My eye asymmetry was severe, but it improved a lot after lateral canthoplasty with lower canthoplasty

Before surgery, my eyes were very asymmetrical, so I was concerned that my eye shape looked different when taking photos with the rear camera, and that the area under my eyes looked a bit hollow, making me look tired. I had been considering lateral canthoplasty with lower canthoplasty for a while, but I hesitated because I was worried about side effects or my impression suddenly changing too much. Then I heard that Lowell Plastic Surgery is a clinic that minimizes side effects without overdoing things, so I decided to have the surgery. First, after making a reservation, the system was to have a brief consultation with the consultant and then go straight into the consultation with the director. What I liked most during the consultation was that there was no pressure to have unnecessary procedures. I visited after applying for an event for lateral canthoplasty with lower canthoplasty, and since I had separately been considering under-eye fat repositioning, there was no pressure at all from either the consultant or the director until I brought it up first. Rather, when I said I also wanted to improve my dark circles, Director Kim Jae-yoon honestly told me that if I was doing the surgery to improve that part, it would not have much effect, which I appreciated. But for me, more than the dark circles, the hollow under-eye area that made me look tired was stressful, so I decided to have the surgery! Even during the consultation with the director, I trusted him more because he accurately understood the patient’s needs while pursuing a natural-looking result. Stitches are usually removed on day 7, but because of my schedule, I asked if they could be removed one day earlier. They said that if the wound had healed, they could remove them on the evening of day 6, so that’s what we did! I think the lateral canthoplasty with lower canthoplasty had less swelling than I expected, but the swelling from the under-eye fat repositioning was a bit severe.. Still, I diligently applied warm/cold compresses and used the prescribed eye ointment properly, so from day 4 I recovered quickly. At first, after the stitches were removed and there was still some swelling, people around me didn’t really notice, and I also couldn’t really tell the difference, so I was about 70% satisfied. But around the one-month mark, a lot of the swelling had gone down and things settled into place, so now I’m very satisfied! One thing that’s a little disappointing is that I wonder if I had the lateral canthoplasty with lower canthoplasty done too naturally.. But still, anything excessive isn’t good, haha. My eye asymmetry improved a lot, so that part is what I’m most satisfied with! My overall impression also became subtly softer, so doing makeup feels fun.

This is a surgery review pursuing natural beauty.
