First of all, personally my satisfaction with the surgery is 100 out of 100~ If you want a naturally glamorous straight nose, everyone should check it out!! My original nose was small, and after the hump, the bridge dropped sharply, so that had been a huge complex since I was young. From the side, my nose looked really low... it even had a slightly fish-man-like feeling After only thinking about it for years, this time I really made up my mind and spent two months diligently researching online. I especially chose 5 candidate clinics centered on places where the doctor’s aesthetic direction matched mine well, and among them, R U Plastic Surgery was my first choice by my standards. I do not like ski-slope noses or semi-ski-slope noses at all I wanted a straight line that drops cleanly, and from looking at reviews, R U had exactly the feeling I wanted. The consultation was the third place I went to in the order of my clinic reservations. After going to the two places before it, maybe because I had clearly felt what parts I was dissatisfied with in consultations? I could definitely tell when a place was well prepared for the consultation. There were even places where the consultation ended after only talking about materials! But at R U, they consulted based on CT images, and Director Kim Hyun-joo personally explained each surgical method in detail. It was actually my first time seeing a PPT haha. In that process, I could feel pride in the surgery, so I felt convinced, like, “Ah, I can entrust it to this doctor.” In my case, I had some nasal bridge height up to the hump area, so they said an implant-free approach was possible, and I proceeded with that; the nasal tip used autologous costal cartilage! I had no burden about autologous costal cartilage, so I booked the surgery right away. From the first day of surgery, I really liked the shape visible under the tape. It hurt, but my mood that day became the best... The area where the autologous costal cartilage was harvested hurt a bit, but after 2 to 3 days it got much better. I took off the abdominal binder and went for a walk right away lol There was not much swelling or bruising either, so I went to work a week later, and I started wearing makeup right away from day 8 after surgery. It has been about 3 weeks since the surgery now (the photos were taken at week 1!), and I am really so satisfied with the shape!! The line I wanted, dropping straight from the hump area, came out exactly, and an unexpected gain was that the nose that used to spread when I smiled was corrected, so my smiling face became much prettier too! It really feels like I upgraded to V.2 after rhinoplasty lol People around me have told me several times that it is the best rhinoplasty result they have seen so far, and even people who used to say, “Why are you getting rhinoplasty~” said they regret having tried to stop me lol Anyway, for people like me who have a clear aesthetic goal and want a straight line, I really want to recommend R U!!
