<Before surgery><Day of surgery><Day 5, after stitch removal><Week 2><Week 2><Week 2>My philtrum has always been on the long side In absolute numbers it was 1.6, so it might not seem long, but my nose itself is short and my face is also short and round, so it looked really long I had about 2 weeks of time off, and from reviews it seemed like most people were not very noticeable by around 2 weeks, so I went for it right away I went in thinking about the event price, but it was really expensive... I think it was the most expensive plastic surgery I have had so far. It was not only that my philtrum was long; the outer sides were long too, so I reduced the inner + outer sides, and while reducing the outer sides I also had to do the mouth corners. Since my philtrum was originally completely flat with no groove at all, I also had a C-curl groove procedure, so it cost 5.5 million won After surgery, there was quite a bit of pain too. My eyes and nose had actually not hurt at all compared with this And the swelling was also enormous. If you search YouTube, there is a vlog where someone dissolved lip filler and had philtrum reduction and got extremely swollen, and I swelled to that level The clinic did not really do anything in particular for me (like swelling laser treatment..) Because I swelled so much, my nose also spread a lot. This is still somewhat there, and the upper philtrum and lips are still very swollen, and sensation has not come back yet It has been 2 weeks, but the scars are still very noticeable. Especially the mouth corners are asymmetrical on both sides, but it could be because of swelling, so I am waiting and watching Also, somehow the center of the philtral groove does not line up with the center of my nose right now; could this also be swelling?? The clinic says that if it had shifted and been sutured that way, the skin should have bunched up, but since that is not the case, they think it is swelling. Still, I am worried I might end up with a slanted philtrum lol.... And I had the philtral groove done too, but it was not created with as much presence as I expected, so that is disappointing... It was reduced a lot, so if the swelling goes down like this and scar care goes well, I think it will be good! I have seen that for many people, both scars and swelling go down a lot by the 1-month mark, so I am looking forward to it In many reviews, the after photos are taken with makeup, retouching, or from far away, so I tried taking very raw photos There are not many philtrum reduction reviews (especially from people who did the outer sides and mouth corners too) so I am posting this review because I want to be helpful too!!
