I started orthodontic treatment at age 12 because of dental alignment issues, but even after more than 5 years, my upper and lower teeth still did not meet properly, so orthodontics alone had its limits. As my lower teeth became more and more protrusive, my malocclusion worsened to the point where it was hard to chew with my front teeth, and in the end I decided to undergo double-jaw surgery. To give the conclusion first, even now, 1 year later, I am very satisfied! <Surgery progress> 1 month I had recovered enough to open my mouth more than 2 fingers wide, and I became able to chew things like rice grains softened in water. The swelling on the left side of my face also went down a lot!! 2 months A little inflammation appeared on the left side of my face, but I’m receiving treatment, so I think it will get better soon.
