Eye Re-Surgery

Review of Posterior Canthoplasty Restoration and Lower Canthoplasty Revision

It has been 6 months since I had posterior canthoplasty restoration and lower canthoplasty revision after getting posterior + lower canthoplasty and developing ㄷ-shaped scarring. The shape looked unpleasant and my eyes stung a lot, but after the restoration, it improved so much!! Originally, I went to the consultation only thinking about posterior canthoplasty restoration, but the director said that if I only did posterior restoration, my eyes could close up a lot, look stuffy, and become smaller, so I might be less satisfied. He recommended doing lower canthoplasty together. I wondered if the shape would look strange if only the lower part was opened again, but after seeing review case photos and videos with a shape similar to mine, I liked the softer-looking shape, so I decided to do it together. I asked for a natural shape because I didn’t want the lower part to be opened excessively, and I’m so satisfied. This was the shape I wanted when I first wanted posterior + lower canthoplasty, and thankfully the revision surgery was successful Even though I had restoration, my eyes didn’t get smaller at all. They actually look refreshed, as if I had a canthoplasty.
