Review of 2 Facial Contouring Procedures (Square Jaw, Chin Tip) From Surgery Day to Day 8, Diet and …

Hellooo, after thinking about it for a year and a half, I got facial contouring surgery! I’m a scaredy-cat too, so while searching around for all sorts of things, I felt frustrated when I couldn’t find the information I wanted, so I’m jotting this down to share information hahaha I had two procedures: chin-tip T-osteotomy and square jaw reduction, and I also had cortical bone shaving and partial masseter muscle resection done. From the side, there was this witch-like chin? area that dropped downward, and I didn’t like my long chin that protruded forward, so after much thought, I went ahead with the surgery. My nerve line was positioned high, but I requested it not to be excessive, just enough that others might think I had lost weight haha because I wanted to clean up the lines I disliked. Over the course of a year, I gradually had consultations at 7 places, and among the hospitals that did not recommend cheekbone surgery, I chose, in the end, a large hospital after considering the director who immediately recognized the line I disliked, postoperative care, surgery cost, hospital facilities, and so on. I’m also attaching before-and-after photos! The left is before, the right is after. There is still so much swelling in my lower lip, chin tip, and under my chin that I have a double chin, but I can see that the line I disliked feels cleaned up, so I’m fairly satisfied hahaha I’ll write down diet info and must-have items. <Diet!!!> Surgery day: fasting Day 1: fasting/New Care/New Care Day 2: New Care/New Care/New Care (I took extra naproxen? painkillers until this day) Days 3~4: New Care/squeezable porridge/New Care (I gently tried eating about 5 McDonald’s fries, but solids weren’t easy. I felt a bit of tooth tightness) Day 5: New Care/squeezable porridge/New Care (I even went back to work for the first time...) Day 6: New Care/castella/Bonjuk porridge (from this day, my condition improved a lot and I felt hunger) Day 7: New Care/Bonjuk porridge/Bonjuk porridge (shrimp porridge, completely blended) Day 8: New Care/Bonjuk porridge/Bonjuk porridge planned haha (abalone intestine porridge, completely blended) Tomorrow I’m going to eat white soft tofu stew! <Must-have items!!!> * New Care, paper cups, lip balm, Daiso small-head fine-bristle toothbrush 4-pack, Newvein, Danggui Sussan, backrest pillow, hat (I didn’t have a bucket hat, so I used a cap and it was comfortable! If you don’t have a bucket hat, I don’t think you need to buy one specifically) * I tried putting water in a sauce bottle to drink, but it was uncomfortable,, paper cups were more convenient! For reference, I’m from outside Seoul, so I bought New Care and Danggui Sussan in Daegu, and I got them very cheaply!
