I'm Jungyang, and I flew from overseas to Korea to have surgery. Actually, I signed up from the very beginning when this community first opened, collected all the hospital info I could, looked at photos, and asked questions, and it's been several years now... I've seen hospitals suddenly blow up and disappear too many times, and I never really understood what people meant when they said you can just feel it after a consultation, but after going to consults I finally got it, that feeling ㅋㅋ First, I didn't go around to a lot of hospitals. If you go to too many, you'll have to pay consultation fees for all of them, and transportation costs also aren't something to ignore... But I wasn't going to go only to places that don't charge consultation fees either, so I narrowed it down and got consultations at exactly 3 places. First, my nose is not exactly low on the bridge, but the tip is blunt, the nostrils are a bit thick, and the tip is slightly upturned. I wanted more change to my face rather than something natural, and I wanted the bridge made high to match my forehead, with the tip raised high too. 1 I went to a place called ㅅㅇㅅㅅㅇ. I saw photos of someone who did well there on another site, and a few people around me had also had it done there, so I went to check it out... honestly, the doctor was busy, so we didn't get to talk that much. Instead, I was so comfortable with the director that we basically spent nearly 30 minutes just hanging out, and it felt really relaxed. My forehead wasn't low either, so they said they'd add fat and raise the nose to match that. They said the chin area would change more if fat were added there too. For the nose + forehead fat + chin fat + nasolabial fold fat, all together it was 4 million won, and I paid a 50,000 won consultation fee ~ 2 ㅇㅅㅇ I saw people online who had surgery here, and from the photos they looked good, so I made a consultation appointment and went. There was no consultation fee... The place looked promising from the outside, but after the consultation, it was just... honestly, I wasn't drawn to it at all. The doctor was mainly focused on a half-moon-shaped nose, and I said I didn't like that, and when I said wasn't that style trendy these days, they said it wasn't trendy and kept saying all sorts of things -_- Then they said, if I don't like it, there's nothing they can do... They were working really hard on something with a ruler-like tool, but it just looked clumsy to me ㅠㅠ It was a hospital I had really high expectations for, but it was disappointing. Even while talking, they kept coughing one after another... When I asked whether it would be possible to add forehead fat and raise the nose, they kept saying my forehead wasn't the kind that could work with fat, and that unless I got an implant, I shouldn't do it... After that, while talking with the director, they said things like ten-pro girls also get surgery here a lot at this hospital, and, looking at me as someone who came from overseas, said maybe I wouldn't know? -_- They said the doctor works fast and does 6 to 7 surgeries a day, and I really felt this wasn't right ㅠㅠ 250 with a 200,000 won discount; if I want to fix the nostrils later, it'll be 80 + extra 3 ㅇㄱㅇ The director's impression was so good that throughout the consultation I felt extremely comfortable. They examined everything carefully with cotton swabs, and were very thorough. I still have pretty eyes now, but they said if the outer corners were a bit more upturned, I'd have a better impression, while touching my forehead... When I asked about putting fat in the forehead, they said my forehead could take fat. At the end, they asked if I had any more questions, but because they explained so many things in detail, I didn't really have anything else to ask... When I came outside and talked about costs with the director, they said there was no discount and that the first surgery would be 3 million won no matter what. When I asked about fat, they said I'd have to consult with another doctor about that, so I just left without another consultation. At the end they charged a 10,000 won consultation fee -_- Still, the doctor made me so comfortable that I didn't feel the money was wasted, but otherwise it wasn't great... Every hospital has different prices, and since pricing is based on the nose shape each person has, the prices can all be different, so I hope you keep that in mind. Some people apparently argue, asking why they were charged 4 million when someone else paid 3 million... But it's your own face you're modifying, so yes, money matters too... but I don't think it's something to push yourself financially for just to have surgery ~ Anyway, I hope my review helps you, and I'll keep continuing the review series.
