I decided to get under-eye fat repositioning because my dark circles were so severe. There are also methods like laser treatment or injecting pigment to get rid of dark circles, but I felt the side effects could be serious, so in the end I judged that under-eye fat repositioning would probably have relatively fewer side effects and be okay. I had too little fat under my eyes to do under-eye fat repositioning, so in the end they would have to use fat transplanted from another area. Since I already did not have much fat, I thought that if I had fat grafting for the under-eye procedure, the fat might disappear again later or become uneven, so while I was debating it, I saw a YouTuber’s vlog of someone who had under-eye surgery using dermis, and it looked natural and well done. I asked around, had a consultation at the clinic, thought about it for about a month, and ended up going ahead with it. After surgery, the eyes do look very tight, but after about 3 months, that tightness completely disappeared and it became natural. Now the tightness is all gone, and the dark circles I was worried about are gone too, so I like it. But since it is a surgery that inserts dermis, I do feel a foreign-body sensation under the eyes, though it is not enough to seriously interfere with daily life. Anyway, I am satisfied.. I am happy that my dark circles are not visible.
