Women seem to stay women even as they get older haha. It’s something I thought about a lot while watching my mom, and one day she looked in the mirror and said, “I’ve aged a lot lately, haven’t I?” So I asked her why she was saying that, and she said the wrinkles around her eyes were all fine and crinkly and that she somehow looked unattractive So we talked, then I held her hand and we just went to a plastic surgery clinic and got a consultation without much planning lol. But my mom had already thought about the areas she wanted to improve..;; lol I was a little surprised when she naturally said she wanted the wrinkles above and below her eyes to improve Why didn’t I think of getting this done for her sooner... This unfilial daughter cried for a bit, but the surgery turned out so well that I leveled back up into a filial daughter lolol. She had upper and lower blepharoplasty, so her eyes look clearer, and more than anything, there’s none of that tired-looking feeling in her eyes anymore. They just look lively now lolol. Thanks to that, my mom smiles more often while looking in the mirror these days, and I’m glad she doesn’t ask whether she looks old anymore lol
