The actual force I feel when I open my eyes is different, and the actual line fixation? depth? is different too. What do you think about getting revision surgery because of this? The lines themselves on both sides are not as different as I thought, but the line on one eye feels too buried inside, and the other side feels like the fixation is weak so the line sits more outward. This makes the asymmetry stand out. It was okay when there was swelling, but now that all the swelling has gone down, I think it shows more.. I had ptosis correction during my first surgery and didn’t do it during the revision, but if I were to get surgery again for this, would it have to be incisional with ptosis correction? It probably wouldn’t be solved just by making the line a bit deeper with non-incisional suture fixation, right?
김볶밥2 If it were me, nope... Looking at the photo you posted, there isn’t a big difference, but if you’re even thinking about an incision because of this, I think the losses may be bigger than the gains. Could your left eye be more sunken??
더유링 If it were me, nope...
익명 [@KimBokbap2] I do think the left side is more sunken, but when there was swelling, both sides felt okay. So I’m debating it because it seems like it might be surgically fixable.
꼬룜이 But it doesn’t look like your eyes are uneven I’m also not sure if it’s swelling or what, but the force I feel when I open my eyes and the sense of correction are different They’re uneven..
익명 [@Kkoryomi] The line height itself is similar on both sides, and it’s because I cropped the photo before uploading it. In real life, the asymmetry is very noticeable. Even in the photo, you can see that the fixation feels different.
꼬룜이 [@] From the photo, the left? eye seems to have stronger fixation, right? This is something you really have to look at closely to notice, and if you don’t mention it, I think people wouldn’t know.. but it must be stressful With tiny differences like this, I know them best myself..
익명 [@Kkoryomi] Yes, the left side has stronger fixation I know other people aren’t interested in me so they don’t really notice, but when I take photos and things like that, it shows so much that it stresses me out.. But it feels like too much to get my eyes done three times because of this.. It’s seriously giving me a headache lololololol
뽀앵뀨 I thought I wrote this post. I also had ptosis correction during my first surgery, then had a revision and ended up with uneven eyes, so I’m looking into another revision.. My line fixation is different too. I also wanted to fix it simply with non-incisional suture fixation, but when I went to one clinic for a consultation, they said I’d need ptosis correction
익명 [@Ppoaenggyu] But for me, it was kind of like this even from my first surgery. I guess the left side really is more sunken But during the revision they said ptosis correction wasn’t really necessary, and even now I actually don’t have a problem opening my eyes. When there was swelling, the symmetry looked good. Also, the right side, where the line sits more outward, is prettier than the left side where the line goes inward, so I’d rather make the fixation a bit weaker. But an incision feels like too much, so I want to solve it with non-incisional suture fixation as much as possible, so I’m planning to get consultations mostly about non-incisional suture fixation..
뽀앵뀨 [@] Same for me. There was a slight difference even after my first surgery, but it didn’t bother me. But after the revision, it got seriously worse lol I don’t want to do ptosis correction, but for me the actual size my eyes open to is different, so I feel like I have no choice I also like thin and natural, so I want weaker fixation, but if I do ptosis correction, it has to be incisional.. I hope your surgery goes well..
니야옹이 [@김볶밥2] If the left eye is more sunken, does that naturally make you feel more fixation??
