It feels awkward to say this after having nose surgery myself, but,, I really wanted people who are thinking about surgery to know this,, I don't know if I was just stupid for not knowing, but I think there are definitely people who will make the same mistake as me,, You really need to know your own nose exactly,, Look in the mirror hundreds of times,,not pretty selfies,,but pictures taken straight on with a camera,,and see where the tip protrudes the most, what changes at 45 degrees on each side,,a slightly prominent bridge does not mean it's always a dorsal hump,,that was my case,,the middle bone was a little prominent rather than the photo,, For nearly 25 years I lived thinking my nose had a dorsal hump and a drooping tip,,but then what do you know,,when I looked at the exact pre-op photos taken at the hospital, not selfies,,only the bridge was slightly prominent,,the tip was right in the middle,,,so of course when they raised that kind of nose, it became upturned,,to the point where even the flesh at the tip of the nose (the flesh between the nostrils, the front part of the columella) disappeared,,if that area has no flesh, people end up saying it looks like an artificial nose,,the bridge and tip are high, but because there's no flesh there,,even from slightly below you can clearly see the nostrils,,and it looks like the lower part of the nose was sliced off,,,,my friend said... ㅡㅠㅜㅠ Shouldn't the doctor be the one to explain this? On the other hand, they say everything will be fine and that they'll do exactly what the patient wants,,,when I said, "Doctor, I don't want a curved 'swan bill' nose, I just want the drooping part lifted," the doctor should have said, "If we lift the tip, it may look upturned, so we need to lengthen it while raising it so that it doesn't look upturned from the front as well. Since you're not having hump reduction osteotomy, the bridge contour will naturally remain,"!!! But that person said, "Ah~ of course~ if we suture the cartilage and use ear cartilage, it'll rise beautifully and naturally" ㅡㅡ,,,,,,,"It's such a simple surgery, so don't worry~ just sleep soundly for a bit and it'll all be over",,kill,, If you're thinking about surgery,,,,if you're worrying about whether to do it or not, I think you're someone who doesn't need it,,it's not "I want to do it",,,it's a nose that has to be done,,,,I think it's for people who can go ahead and do it,, If it's not pretty, but it harmonizes with your face as it is now and it's not causing you unbearable stress, then I don't recommend it,, Unless it's severely short or severely long or severely humped or severely bulbous,,,if that's not the case,,,and you want to look even prettier, if you read my post,,you might say, plastic surgery is supposed to make you prettier, what are you talking about,,and you're right,,,but too much greed brings trouble,,I also lived my life not hearing that my nose was pretty, but it was more like, well, it's okay,,and when I said I was getting surgery, people said don't do it~ your nose is fine~, and I thought, ah, they don't even say it's pretty~ I'll get surgery and become prettier~ and then I ruined it, I think everyone has a nose that suits them, Having only the nose look pretty does not make you beautiful, and that doesn't mean you can redo everything else to match the nose,,, You might think it's meddling for me to leave a post like this, but I'm posting because I think there are definitely people like me who don't have much plastic surgery information, have never really received advice, and are worrying about whether to do it or not and what to do if they do,,, I'll upload my original nose photos,,does this nose look severely droopy? When the doctor said it was quite droopy and that he would raise it upward, if I had known exactly what my nose was like, I would have gone to another hospital to get it checked,,my nose has a slightly prominent bridge and the tip is not high (now that I look at it, it just seems average,,I really wonder why I used to think the tip was low),,but if you set it on an angle it looks upturned, a nose like that should be made taller by projecting it forward rather than just lifting it,,when I brought these photos to consultations everywhere, quite a few hospitals told me exactly this,,people whose nostrils were not very visible to begin with get stressed if the nose gets higher and the front view shows even a little more nostril than before,,because they've been accustomed to that tip for decades,,does a person live by looking only at the side view?,,even when doing makeup, even when looking in the mirror,,,what you see is the front view,,,it should look good together,,virtual surgery is mostly done from the side, but make sure you also check the front view,,I hope you get nose surgery without mistakes,,,and if possible, take care of your body shape,,take care of your skin,,take care of your style,,,and love your original face,,,,there may come a day when you miss the face you have now desperately,,,,
