I'm absolutely xxxx not a broker, and after my revision surgery went badly, I dug through communities, open chats, blogs, cafes, YouTube, and so on, so I'll share the information I found,, For me, it went like this: first surgery (success) / revision - AS follow-up surgery (failure, same clinic; I had buried-suture removal done here) / second revision (success). All three are clinics that get mentioned here quite a lot. (I can share the clinics privately in comments, but results vary by person, so please be careful. I also can't get sued by the second clinic^*^) If it's your first surgery? Then if you choose clinics that are mentioned fairly often + a safe line, you usually won't fail (avoid incisional surgery if possible) -> Look at review photos and find a doctor whose aesthetic sense matches yours (most important), check how much that doctor is mentioned (I referred a lot to open chat rooms), and look for real reviews (at least 3 satisfied people; the more people who had surgery there, the more people should be satisfied). With that much, I think failure is unlikely + And if it's your first surgery, insist hard on non-incisional buried sutures if possible; at least one clinic will usually say it's possible, except in truly thick-skin cases.. Then what if it's a revision? Simple dissatisfaction with the line (low line, crooked line shape, etc.) -> Similar to finding a first-surgery clinic as written above, but you need to know exactly what suits you + what you prefer. At this point, I misjudged what would suit me, searched for clinics based on that standard, and it went badly. If you compromise with reality and don't get greedy, it usually succeeds + Since your first surgery looked natural, should you get ambitious? Absolutely no. If you liked your first-surgery eyes, absolutely don't get greedy... Extreme eyes (very thick double eyelid, excision cases) -> Just unconditionally choose a doctor with a lot of experience in surgeries like lowering the line, etc. (the more years of experience, the better). There are probably doctors who are consistently mentioned here. There is no way they have zero failed cases. But the chance of failure is lower compared with other doctors +What I learned while studying is that fixation strength, skin thickness, and line height all have to match to get a natural double eyelid. You need to clearly separate and think about whether you want a glamorous look, a semi-glam natural look, or a natural look If you're not sure, share your list and I can take a look to some extent! But I won't recommend clinics. I can just talk about the characteristics of the clinics. I can also tell you clinics you should filter out Reason I'm doing this: I recently had my second revision and I like it so much that I'm excited, so mentally I feel very willing to share information with others. Sometimes people are so used to their face without double eyelids that they can’t let go of that and end up regretting it, especially for a first surgery, where you might want to test the waters with buried stitches a bit.. Anyway, incisional surgery has a deeper fixation and you’re cutting skin, so there are naturally more risks.

냥뇽 [@쎠린채] If it were me, I think I'd try buried sutures one more time first...! If you really hate the idea of it coming undone, incision is better, but there's no guarantee that an incision won't loosen either

냥뇽 [@지ㅣ지] Partial incision = natural adhesion with an incision stitch. You can think of just tying it with thread as the same as natural adhesion. Occasionally there are clinics that make a lot of incisions, but usually one incision stitch for fat removal is common. My first surgery was also partial incision~‘ I don’t think partial incision has stronger fixation than natural adhesion. So it’s fine

My current eyes are like this: the left side feels like the front part has loosened, and the line is puffy; the right side has basically completely loosened at the front of the line. I also have some eyelid fat and thick skin, so maybe the fixation is strong?
