I had a consultation for eye revision surgery at Jesta and scheduled my surgery date. Since the reviews and comments were good, I had made a reservation with Director G.G.R, and the consultation was really good. He looked at my eyes kindly, and when I listed out all the things I wanted to improve about my current eyes, he told me they were not that difficult and that they were all things that could be done. For reference, I had my first surgery in March 2022, and I had ptosis correction, epicanthoplasty, and incisional in-out double eyelids. But for the epicanthoplasty, everyone reacts like, “That was done?” The double-eyelid lines are uneven, and the ptosis correction was not even done properly, but the fixation was put in insanely strongly, so when I close my eyes there is a slightly sunken-looking scar ㅜ I started looking into revision surgery early last year, and I looked into so many clinics, like OMD, OOM, SS, OOGR, OST, TOS, etc. But after looking at surgery photos, first of all JST was my favorite, and after digging through reviews for a year and a half, I don’t think I saw any bad reviews of Director G.G.R, so I only booked a consultation here and paid the reservation deposit right away. If you only read this far, I sound like a broker, right? If you look at the posts I wrote, I also had a total nose implant removal, and back then too I decided after only doing online research, so that is just my personality haha All the reviews of Director G.G.R at JST are only so good, one after another, so I wondered, “Are all of these posts written by the clinic? Can it really be this good..?” But this time too, I’m going to trust my decision! (I was extremely satisfied with my nose removal!!) But one thing that scares me is that I originally had my surgery scheduled for December 29, right? But then the clinic suddenly contacted me. They said Dr. Kang had suddenly decided to resign due to personal circumstances..ㅜ So they said he would only be working until around August 10? and told me to decide whether to cancel or move up the surgery date ㅜㅜ For now, I decided to go ahead with the surgery. The surgery is next Saturday, August 2…haha Since the surgery got moved up by more than 5 months, I do wonder if this is right, but.. as I said earlier, since last year I had already decided that I would get it done by Dr. Kang here.. I was worried and asked various things, and they said aftercare and any AS would be handled by Director Choi, the chief director? So I feel somewhat more at ease.. I asked whether Dr. Kang was going to another clinic or opening his own, but the consultant said she hadn’t been told that either, so she didn’t know ㅠㅜ I hope it wasn’t for a bad reason.. ㅜ According to the consultant, Director Kang learned from Director Choi, and she said if I was okay with it, they could switch me to Director Choi, but I had made up my mind to get it done by Director Kang, so I decided to just go ahead!! I decided to have eye revision surgery (ptosis correction, epicanthoplasty, incisional in-out double eyelids, lateral and lower canthoplasty)! I am pretty worried because I feel like I decided too hastily, but still, I believe it will go well!! If any friends have had canthoplasty or revision surgery with Director G.G.R at JST, please leave a comment!!
하룬아 I’m also going to get a consultation with Director G.G.R at JST, and after reading this post, I feel convinced!
Aaa221 [@Haruna] Oh my gosh, really..? Did you already go for the consultation? They say the doctor is quitting soon. Are you going to have surgery..??
