I went to my first consultation for revision rhinoplasty

3 years ago, I had a straight-to-semi-curved-line rhinoplasty with donated costal cartilage + silicone, but my nasal tip has drooped a lot, it feels crooked, and my nostrils are uneven, so these days I’m going around to consultations for revision rhinoplasty! Today I’m leaving a review of my first consultation with Director Kim Hyun-woo at Wont Plastic Surgery - Scheduled clinics: Hit Plastic Surgery, The Door Plastic Surgery, Top Class Plastic Surgery I went right at 10 a.m., exactly when they opened, and I was the first one lol There was no waiting at all. The order was: fill out the chart → CT scan → consultation with the consultant → consultation with the director → final consultation with the consultant They oddly took the CT twice (maybe because it’s revision surgery..? Anyway, it did feel thorough) Consultant consultation (1st round) They asked a bunch of things, like how long it had been since surgery, whether I remembered the materials used the first time, what parts I was dissatisfied with, my desired direction or improvement points, etc., and we talked for about 10-15 minutes Director consultation It lasted almost 50 minutes… I seriously asked over 100 questions, but the sincerity was legendary. Maybe because he recently opened the clinic, he felt really passionate Problems with my current nose condition (nasal tip drooping, asymmetry, crooked-looking feeling, etc.) He said the left side of my face is longer and my left nostril sits lower, and that’s what makes it look crooked While looking at the CT, he also explained that the nasal bridge looks deeper toward the left, and told me that if silicone is placed to match the asymmetry, it can create another asymmetry He said to fix it, they would lower and fix one side of the cartilage more, and especially while correcting my side profile, he showed me my desired line. The shape connecting from the nasal tip to the nasal ala was exactly the style I wanted He said autologous costal cartilage would be used, specifically the 7th costal cartilage I said I wanted to do a philtrum reduction together too, but he advised against it because there can be blood circulation issues in the columella Instead, he also told me other alternatives. In the end, he summarized it as doing the nose first and thinking about it later I heard he also does facial contouring, and the way he looked at bone structure and facial balance felt professional One thing that surprised me was that he identified the cause of the asymmetry issue I had only been worrying about by myself from a different angle Final consultation with the consultant There was zero pressure, and she said revision surgery should be decided carefully, then just gave me a business card and wrapped things up Since it’s at Gangnam Station, if you’re going, I recommend using public transportation. There were insanely many cars even in the morning The cost was the same as primary surgery because the event price was applied the same way I think it might be the cheapest revision rhinoplasty among the clinics right now   Overall review For a first consultation, I was really satisfied, and I newly learned why my nose looks crooked and the cause of the asymmetry, so it was genuinely useful I still have more clinics left to consult with, so I’ll go around to all of them and decide Getting a consultation while the event is going on seems like killing two birds with one stone For noses, it seems like they do a lot of slightly natural-glam to glamorous styles Lines like straight-to-semi-curved and semi-ski-slope I’m going to a consultation at Hit tomorrow, so I’ll post again~~
