I've been to two places so far and I'm planning to visit four more... At the first clinic, they quoted 4.8 million won, so I negotiated it down to 4.5 million won The second clinic was 6.6 million won even if I wrote a partially public review, and there was no room for negotiation It's my first surgery, but because I have a small nose and an upturned nose, I do need to use autologous costal cartilage I went in already mostly decided on autologous costal cartilage, but seriously, why is it so expensive Of course, cost isn't my top priority, but where on earth are the people who said they got it done in the high 3 million to low 4 million won range going?
Da롱 I'm also thinking about getting nose surgery now, so I've been looking into it a lot, but people don't recommend autologous costal cartilage for a first surgery They say it's used when there's no more cartilage left to use. Since autologous costal cartilage is firm, it actually has less elasticity, so it can break more easily, and it's heavy, so it can contribute to the nose sinking. That's why they said to leave costal cartilage as the very last resort
구르미둥둥 [@Da롱] But as far as I know, in cases like mine where the original nose itself is small and upturned, ear cartilage doesn't have enough strength, so autologous costal cartilage is used quite often from the first surgery
융 Autologous costal cartilage is definitely the most expensive. I used ear cartilage and still came out in the high 5 million won range
찌미미 Was that quote for no implant in the nasal bridge and only autologous costal cartilage in the nasal tip??
내꿈은건물주 Yeah yeah yeah Costal cartilage does seem expensive
구르미둥둥 [@찌미미] No, silicone does go in too...!! It won't be raised a lot, just 2-3 mm, but they said they don't recommend completely no implant because it can create a step-off
