I really worried about it for years and finally had surgery 2 weeks ago. lol My friend had it done at a really famous plastic surgery clinic (the price was 3.1 million too ;;), but her nasal tip didn’t come together at all, and on top of that her nose ended up crooked, so I saw her go through so much emotional stress. So I was scared and couldn’t do it either, but then I suddenly thought I should do it while I’m even one year, no, one day younger, so I made up my mind. From then on I searched like crazy. I also went around to lots of consultations. But I really think you need to go in person, meet the director, and choose a clinic you can trust. I found out about this community after surgery, so I personally went to consultations at almost more than 10 places. But there were a few places where I couldn’t even meet the director at all, places where even when I met them, they didn’t properly look at my nose and just showed photos of other people’s good results, places where I went for my nose but they recommended other areas too, it was really chaos;;; lol Then if you meet a director who seems like they’ll make your nose really pretty, from that point on you just trust the director and leave it to them. In my case too, I went to those hospitals that advertise a lot, but as I said above, there were just lots of people.. In short, they only felt like factories. Cosmetic surgery isn’t like internal medicine where you just get medicine and that’s the end. When it feels like swelling isn’t going down well and you get unnecessarily anxious, I think it needs to be a place where the director operating on you understands that and listens well. So the standards I used to choose a hospital were not price or advertising, but the director’s skill and sincerity. The place I chose was ㅇㄹ Plastic Surgery. (Oh, the price was 2.5 million, but they did it for 2.3 million. lol Compared with my friend, it felt really inexpensive;) When I went for consultation, I heard a person who had revision surgery come out after a follow-up and talk with the consultant, and she seemed really satisfied. They say revision surgery is difficult, so I thought the doctor must be good at it. But when I went into the consultation and she explained things, maybe because the director was a woman, it felt like she understood my feelings so well. lol She also explained the surgical method in detail~ I felt it was different from the cold-atmosphere hospitals I’d been to until then, and after coming home, I booked it a few days later. lol Then after looking into it, I found out the director had appeared on TV and was famous as a nose specialist. That feeling of pride that my choice was right.. lol On the day of surgery, because I trusted the director, I wasn’t nervous at all. During the surgery, I could talk too, so I even joked, asking whether it was turning out pretty, and had the surgery comfortably~ For two days after surgery, breathing was uncomfortable and eating was uncomfortable, but despite the inconvenience I made sure to eat all 3 meals^^v After two days, once the cotton was removed, it felt so much easier and nice lol Then a few days later the hard splint was removed, and a few days after that even the tape came off, and it felt strange, like, is this really my nose? lol And every time I went to get things removed, I really felt this, but the director and clinic staff are so kind. Honestly, I’m the type who has a lot of questions, so every time I go I bother them by asking this and that, too^^;; And now it’s already week 2, lol Now reactions from people around me are slowly coming in. lol Even friends who tried to stop me say it turned out really well and that I did a good thing by doing it. lol They say they want to do theirs too.. lolol Most of all, the friend who suffered emotionally because of her nose is so jealous.ㅠ So I’m thinking of taking that friend there soon~ Revision surgery has to be approached really, really carefully, but the ㅇㄹ where I had mine is specialized in noses, and I personally saw a revision patient too, so I think I can let my friend have surgery there with peace of mind! I’m embarrassed, so I still can’t upload photos. lol I’m the kind of woman-person who doesn’t even really take selfies. lol Ah! For 2 weeks, I almost slept sitting up. lol Every day I drank pumpkin juice 3 times a day on an empty stomach, and walked morning and evening like my life depended on it. lol Even now, because I sleep sitting up, I woke up early and had nothing to do, so I played around and I’m leaving a review lol at this hour.. lol After writing everything, I’m going for morning exercise! May the remaining swelling all disappear!!! lol Anyway, these days, just because of my nose, every single day feels worth living! I hope all of you have successful cosmetic surgery too^^
