The photo above is my nose before surgery and now. The long photo below is from when I had surgery before removal. Nasal tip, ear cartilage support strut, alar cartilage tying, hump shaving, and silicone. I had them removed in the second month, and now it has been one month since removal. Until recently, there had been no change in my nasal tip. I called the clinic that did the removal, and they told me to twist my nose and press firmly, so I massaged it hard. The pointed nasal tip became rounded, almost similar to before. But I can’t help that it became blunt and bulbous. And.. the nostrils..ㅠㅠ They used to be small and round, but I guess it’s true that those don’t go back.. Maybe because of the nostrils, it still looks somehow awkward from the front.. since the nostrils have become elongated.. I debated whether to include a front-facing photo or not. Actually, in real life it doesn’t look that wide and flat. I was worried people thinking about having their hump shaved and silicone removed might feel a bit hopeless;; In real life, it’s totally fine~~ But when seen from slightly below, the shaved area is clearly noticeable.. You can clearly see that it’s flat. From an angle, it can look a bit crooked because of the bone on the side.. But.. that was also an area I disliked before surgery because of the protruding bone.. so I accepted it coolly ㅋㅋ Because the side profile became smooth and pretty. Until not long ago after removal, my nasal tip felt separate. Only the nasal tip was pointed, and it looked like only the silicone had been removed, with only the tip lifted. My parents thought I had only removed the silicone;; so they asked if I shouldn’t put silicone back in.. But it slowly came down and naturally connected with the nasal bridge. I didn’t have any particular contracture. I think it was just a case where the nasal tip naturally came down. Maybe it helped that I diligently took Rizaben 3 times a day starting one week after surgery.. The director who did the removal removed everything super quickly.. maybe there wasn’t much tissue damage. In fact, the wound healed very quickly.. and there wasn’t much swelling. From around 2 weeks, it barely hurt even if I pressed it. Not strongly, though.. (I think I wrote it wrong, so I’m correcting it) Rather, the area where the silicone was removed hurt more. Especially between the eyebrows;; that area hurt. Anyway, I ended up rambling. I hope people struggling because of their nose can read this and use it as a reference, and I really hope everyone gets good results! ---------------------------------------------- Some people don’t read the whole post and message me asking again about things already written here. If you read the post, there’s a rough explanation, so please read it once and then message me ^^ And I won’t tell you the clinic where I had the removal ㅠㅠ After all, having removal done separately at another clinic is not really a good thing for either that clinic or the patient.. In my case it was unavoidable.. The removal clinic told me to talk to the original clinic once more, and if they still refused, then to come, so I went to have it done. It’s not revision surgery, and especially if it hasn’t even been 6 months, almost no large clinic will do removal for you.. If you didn’t use materials that are hard to remove, like Medpor or costal cartilage, I think it’s better to simply search for a specialist clinic near your home and get a consultation than to keep going to clinics in Apgujeong~ They said removing silicone or untying ear cartilage / tied cartilage is a really easy and simple surgery. Everyone, stay strong!!
