Nose Surgery Reviews

I’d appreciate advice from people with revision surgery experience~~

In February 2007, I had surgery at a clinic near Cheonho-dong for 1.3 million won. Silicone nasal bridge + ear cartilage for the nasal tip,,,, I didn’t want obvious-looking plastic surgery, so I only asked them to raise it while keeping my original nose shape as it was. It was done with a closed approach, and I was so, so satisfied and happy because I finally had a nasal bridge where I had none before. From early on, the nasal tip cartilage was shifted to one side, so one side showed an “11” shape, but the doctor just said it was because people’s nostrils are uneven. I tried to accept it, but part of me felt anxious... Then one day, I was talking with a friend who had rhinoplasty in Gangnam around the same time as me (friend’s nose: Gore-Tex nasal bridge + nasal tip cartilage). Her nasal tip was soft and the Gore-Tex didn’t move. I was shocked! Because when I move my bridge silicone with my hand, it moves left and right very flexibly, and the nasal tip cartilage is hard!! almost like silicone,,,,;; I thought this was normal. One thing I can understand is that when I touched my friend’s ear, it was very soft, and my own ear cartilage itself is on the harder side.. I tried to accept it again, and three years passed like this. After the surgery, my side profile wasn’t especially pretty, but just having a nasal bridge boosted my confidence in photos, and even when people suspected my nose, if I said I had injections, everyone believed it and thought, oh, I guess so~ But now the “11” mark on my nose is becoming more and more obvious, the nasal tip also shows an “11,” and the biggest problem is that my nasal tip is much more upturned than before.. I had surgery because my nose was low and short, but now it’s a slightly higher upturned nose. Acquaintances say it looks natural, older people say it looks natural and not pointy, and older people meeting me for the first time have even called me a natural beauty; reactions vary, but if I myself keep feeling anxious and unsatisfied, I’ve decided I should get revision surgery before I become more depressed or lose confidence. For the past year, while thinking about revision surgery, I’ve been looking into this clinic and that clinic. Since my nasal tip keeps going up, I had been thinking, “I guess I need to make nasal support with septal extension,” but recently, after reading everyone’s posts, it seems there are discomforts and other side effects,, so I just want to adjust the nasal tip with ear cartilage only, and for the bridge, I want a nose that looks straight from the front, not too slim, and doesn’t show the nostrils too much... Ah, I’m also thinking about alar reduction. I never wanted a sharp, luxurious-looking nose like celebrities or pretty Apgujeong women in the first place. I want something natural, with a slightly low feeling, but with a neat nasal tip shape.. A clinic I looked up online says they do the nasal bridge and nasal tip using only ear cartilage? I’m curious how it’s possible to correct contracture or bring down the nasal tip using only ear cartilage....;; If anyone has had surgery with ear cartilage only, please let me know (I copied the before-and-after photos above from that homepage.) I’m the type who tries to think positively, so I don’t really have social avoidance, loss of confidence, or depression, but I want to get a job in the future where facial impression is somewhat important, so I decided on revision surgery.. I’d appreciate any advice from people with experience in revision surgery and removal^^ Thank you for reading this long post. To everyone whose hearts are hurt because of surgery and who are living through tears, please stay strong!! I believe many good things will happen for you!
