First of all, I’m the type who carries a lot of fat in my upper body, so I’d wanted liposuction since 2 years ago. Since I was living outside Seoul, I couldn’t go around to many hospitals for consultations, so I went for consultations after getting recommendations for a few places and looking up reviews on apps. To share my consultation review, maybe because this hospital requires reservations, I was the only one there when I went. Since the consultation was 1:1 with the director from the start, I could comfortably ask everything I was curious about, and she sketched things out right away and explained how I would change. Since the director was a woman, I definitely felt comfortable during the consultation haha Also, she said realistically that she would remove fat as much as possible from the areas she could, but that it wouldn’t make me look extremely skinny like a celebrity, which I liked lol Honestly, I think I decided on the hospital not only because of her meticulous personality and surgical experience, but largely because the price was reasonable. On the day I went for surgery, since I was coming from outside Seoul and driving was prohibited because of the anesthesia, I traveled by bus! On the day, she sketched on my body, I checked the areas to be revised, received the surgery instructions, and had it under sedation. After that, I don’t remember anything and then woke up lol The director and nurses came by frequently to check on me, and after I had recovered to some extent, a nurse held onto me and saw me off all the way to the elevator. On the day of surgery, it felt more heavy than painful in the surgical areas. If anything, I’d say it hurt in the second week when I bumped into something. I had a little minor bruising, and from the third week, I went outside and went back to my normal daily life. There wasn’t any separate aftercare, but I think that was much better than adding clumsy, unnecessary things and charging extra fees. At the one-month mark, I went to a shop near my home for fibrosis care, and the director there said it was her first time seeing so little fibrosis. When I rotated my arms, the injection marks were slightly visible, but not enough to bother me. Honestly, there are a lot of scary posts and reviews about body liposuction, so it took me 2 years to make up my mind to do it, but I’m so satisfied after the surgery lol I never even dreamed of wearing crop tops because of my belly fat, but I bought lots of new clothes too. I think with liposuction, it’s important to research the hospital and the director well.
