<Today after surgery><Before surgery in September> I’m attaching photos from today and yesterday It still looks haggard enough that it feels like I barely did anything, though it has improved a bit compared to before, but I’m not satisfied. And that saying that once you do it, you don’t need to do it again... I feel like I’ll have to do it again... I’d been stressed about my under-eyes for 20 years, and when I was younger my under-eyes were dark and people always asked if I was sick, so to mark turning 40, I went ahead with under-eye fat repositioning surgery. I had consultations at ㄸㅋ and ㅇㅇㅅ, and somehow I chose ㅇㅇㅅ because they seemed a bit more firm in their approach. After surgery, the swelling and pain were okay. But maybe because there wasn’t enough tissue to work with after all... it didn’t improve as much as I expected. I met the doctor in charge after 3 months, and they said that for my case, it turned out well, and that the reason my under-eyes are dark is because the skin is pigmented... Actually, before that I had really trusted them, but when they said pigmentation, I wondered if I hadn’t shopped around enough, or if it really did turn out well and I’m just being too greedy... The world of cosmetic surgery is really difficult... I want to get facial contouring, but I don’t know how to choose. I visited two places, and I liked both of them... I’m wondering whether I should look around a bit more...
코좀높높 I guess it’s impossible to be completely satisfied with cosmetic surgery after all Still, you went through a lot getting the surgery!
태평양눈밑 [@코좀높높] Hmm, thank you. Even though it’s cosmetic surgery, the swelling was quite a lot and it was uncomfortable ㅎㄹ
아스피날 I’m on day 11 after getting it done at ㅇㅇㅅ too... I didn’t want fat grafting either and thought it would be enough if it just looked cleaner, but although it’s still too early to judge the result, I think I’ll probably feel the same as you...
태평양눈밑 [@아스피날] I thought about it a lot. Still, since I want to make it prettier.. But I shouldn’t get too greedy either, since I’m older now… Still, there are no side effects and I’m satisfied that it’s improved a little, or rather quite a bit(?), compared to before..
아스피날 [@태평양눈밑] In my case, a thin incision-like line appeared on my aegyo-sal... If this can’t be improved, I’m thinking of just going to an oval-shaped clinic that’s good at fat grafting and getting a small touch-up... If the original repositioning has been done properly in the standard way, it seems like a retouch can be done by adding just a little fat grafting or dermis.

태평양눈밑 [@아스피날] Yeah, I can’t see it either
HJJE Whoa, really..? Were your tear troughs originally on the deeper side by any chance..? I had made up my mind about this place, but now I’m reconsidering..
티테이블 [@HJJE] I had my stitches and tape removed yesterday. I chose to have surgery here because this place felt the most stable to me, and although my eyes are still red, bloodshot, and swollen, my under-eyes already look flat, so I like it. But if you’re wavering, think about it more I did it because I felt this was the place for me...
HJJE [@티테이블] Oh really?! That’s so great!! Congrats!! Were your tear troughs originally on the deeper side? Did you have a lot of fat protrusion??
태평양눈밑 [@HJJE] I’m not sure about the troughs, but I did have some fat protruding under my eyes. They said it had sagged because the muscle had no strength, due to aging.. but I’ve had it since I was 20, so I think it’s congenital. They spread out the fat and made it flat, but it still feels somewhat dark. That seems to be because there wasn’t enough tissue to work with; if there had been a bit more fat, the troughs would have been filled and it wouldn’t look dark.. That’s why I wanted fat grafting.. I wanted to see a perfect result at least once, even if only as an early effect
HJJE [@Under-Eye Review] I see.. I don’t have much fat and the groove is deep, so that might make it look darker too.. I’m too scared of side effects to try fat grafting
아스피날 But did the groove lines get fully smoothed out? Mine on the right still feels a bit disappointing, and I’m not sure whether it will even out once all the swelling goes down...
태평양눈밑 [@아스피날] The grooves are all smoothed out, but I think it looks a little darker. The swelling seems to last until around 2 months. There are also times when there’s a bit of pain. Right now it doesn’t hurt at all
아스피날 [@Tae-pyeongyang under eyes] Since you had it done at the same `ㅇㅇㅅ`, I wanted to ask: during the first 2-3 weeks, were the hollows still smoothed out? Mine looks like there may still be a bit of indentation, maybe because there wasn’t enough material... I’m not sure whether it changes again as time passes
태평양눈밑 [@Aspinall] I attached a photo in case it helps. Please take another look at the main text. Was there a lot of material lacking? Or was the groove so deep that it ended up sunken even after surgery? What does the surgeon say..
아스피날 [@Pacific Under Eyes] Thank you for the photo. Maybe because of pigmentation, mine looks even darker than yours... I haven’t been able to see you yet because it hasn’t even been a month... I’m seeing you in early August, and I don’t know how it’ll be then, so these days have been nothing but worry.

에리공주 I had it done here too, but I’ve ended up with fox eyes and a sort of fish-like face, so it’s surprisingly stressful, too,, If time passes, will it go back to the way it was??? If it stays like this, I won’t be able to live my daily life.. It’s already been a week since the surgery!
태평양눈밑 [@Princess Ari] If it’s been a week, you have to keep watching it. In the early stage, the result can look satisfying, but it seems to drift back over time…
아스피날 [@Tae-pyeongyang Under-eye] The doctor said it was permanent because they pull the fat and fix it in place, but does it come back...?
에리공주 [@Pacific under-eyes] I thought it would naturally come back when you got older.. but it came back again after just a few months????
태평양눈밑 [@Princess Erie] Doesn’t seem like it… attach the photo again, I don’t know whether this counts as successful or whether I’m the one who needs to be satisfied.
아스피날 [@PacificEyesUnder] The other side is completely smooth..! The close-up side just looks like it came out that way in the photo, but compared with before it really doesn’t seem comparable...
에리공주 [@Under-eye area] I saw the photo and it looks good to me, no?
태평양눈밑 That’s a relief it’s a photo taken as it is, and I hope it gives everyone hope.. I wasn’t sure either, but talking with everyone here gave me more energy. Compared with other surgeries it’s not a big one, but for those of us with an under-eye complex and dark under-eyes, it is a big surgery... Everyone, stay calm, it’ll improve well.
아스피날 [@Pacific Eye Area] If you don’t get greedy with fat grafting, for those of us who simply don’t have enough material, this may honestly be the level we have to be satisfied with. I think my result will be similar too... But it’s still true that it’s better than before, so I guess I have to take comfort in that...
ijijiiijll Hmm, since it's still a bit bulging, it looks more like there's still fat there than pigmentation. Still, I think your impression looks much better than before!!
올리브리브 It seems okay to me? I don't think it's completely flat, and it seems more like it's because of fat rather than a groove.. I also consulted here and have a reservation, and I think mine will turn out similarly. I was told I have thick tissue under the eyes, so they won't touch that part (literally only the under-eye fat), and that after surgery it might stand out more like that. Seeing the post-surgery photos, the improvement is clearly visible, so if it were me I'd be satisfied. Thanks so much for the review~
2런저run Shouldn't you have had lower blepharoplasty in the first place?
디디 I had mine done here about two months ago, and until the one-month mark it looked similar to before, or gave me a slightly drained look, so I was a bit disappointed and wondered if it hadn’t been done enough. But now it’s been two months, and I’m completely satisfied. It looks completely clean. From the start, that hospital wouldn’t take people likely to develop complications, was against fat grafting, and said to come back for a follow-up one month after surgery, so it’s a very conservative and safety-focused style. Honestly, there are almost no hospitals that tell you to come back one month after under-eye fat repositioning. Most treat it as a simple procedure. Anyway, I thought it had been botched, but after some time passed, I ended up being satisfied.
Wjejjfjgjf… [@] But I only had severe under-eye fat issues, and I’m in my 20s.
눈밑지발품 It seems like it turned out well enough, though? Even if you do fat grafting, it eventually gets absorbed anyway
반디별 I only consulted, and.. I think I’d feel the same if I had surgery too.. At the time I didn’t really understand.. I was talking about the hollows and the sunken areas. Seems like there isn’t enough material for me too.. They said if you do fat grafting, at first you’ll be really satisfied, but there are many cases where problems come up later and it has to be revised... It’s really hard to decide. Still, it looks like there weren’t any wrinkles~~ I was worried the area that had fat would end up like a deflated balloon. It does seem improved compared to before, but I understand the feeling of disappointment.
반디별 Is your skin thin too? I’m in my mid-40s.
반디별 Is it still the same? Please reply.
Reader 38 How is it now? Are you satisfied with ㅇㅇㅅ? You don't have much fat. I don't want to do fat grafting either, so this is really hard
