Posting a one-month photo review of dermal rhinoplasty (I’m male)

The bone sticking out on the bridge of my nose (though it doesn’t show well in the photo), and my blunt nose that gets three times bigger when I smile~! I was always dissatisfied with my low nasal bridge, which looked too empty even when I wore glasses. I had thought that once I entered university, I definitely wanted to get it fixed a bit;; I kept putting it off and finally went through with it. But since it involved putting a foreign material into my body, I had resistance to that, and to side effects, and I also had resistance to the risk of revision surgery. Also, since I’m a man, I was even more conscious of other people’s gazes, which still aren’t exactly gentle. So I became interested in autologous dermis, which I happened to learn about, and decided to have the surgery. Honestly, right up until the day of surgery, I worried a lot about all kinds of things, like whether it was the right choice, whether it would look obvious, whether side effects would occur, and so on. I was also worried about surgical pain. Once I lay down on the operating table, it turned out I really didn’t need to worry about surgical pain. It was done under sleep anesthesia, but unlike what I expected, it was only called “sleep”; I didn’t sleep at all;;; When they harvested the dermis, I was only in a hazy state of mind, and I just felt something like a pen gently scraping my buttocks, and occasionally a slight prickling feeling like getting acupuncture at an oriental medicine clinic, and it was over quickly. After harvesting the dermis, they did the nose surgery. The pulling and the tapping sounds and sensations when shaving the hump weren’t pleasant, but there was no pain that was hard to endure at all. After the surgery ended, I told the doctor that the surgery didn’t hurt at all, and the doctor joked, “Oh, it didn’t hurt? I could have made it hurt... lol,” which made me laugh lol. As I’d heard, for the first 1 to 2 weeks after surgery, the area between my eyebrows was high like Avatar and still looked very awkward, but after 3 weeks passed and then a month, the swelling went down a lot. First of all, the things I had been dissatisfied with before surgery, the protruding bone, broad nose, and low nasal bridge, seem to have improved a lot, so I’m satisfied. They say with dermis, you can know the accurate result only after 3 months have passed since surgery, so I think I need to watch it with patience.^^
