Is there anyone whose lip sensation hasn't come back yet..? And from when can you smile? My nose was done with autologous costal cartilage, and the nasolabial fold augmentation was done through the mouth, and I even had my double chin tied up..... I'm scared that if I smile, my nose will spread out or collapse downward, so I can't smile at all. It's only about day 4-5 so far, but I wonder when I'll be able to smile.. And for the intraoral incision, I can only gargle right now. I can't remember whether they told me to use toothpaste when brushing or not, but would it be okay to gently brush with toothpaste..? Even after removing the cotton from my nose, it's dry and blocked, driving me crazy. I can't even taste food. It says toothpaste brushing starts from days 5-7, but brushing only with water feels really uncomfortable, and I don't even know if I heard it properly. I asked a lot of disorganized questions, but please leave me some replies..

바클라바 I'm at one month now, and I can smile somewhat. Do what the hospital told you to do, and keep gargling! But my sensation still hasn't come back either. I still have no sensation on the left side of my philtrum lol, and the tip of my nose has no sensation either.
징이꽃 [@바클라바] I also did that thing where they lower the nostrils, nostril lowering? Maybe because I did that too, smiling feels tight, so I'm anxious about laughing broadly haha. Yeah, I'm also about 4 weeks post-op, and the sensation on one side of my lip seems to be gradually coming back. Time is the medicine, so let's wait patiently!
