I developed inflammation, so I took medication and received treatment for a little over 10 days.. Yesterday I went to the hospital.. The doctor said.. they would open the nose with an open approach, and if the inflammation hadn't reached the cartilage, they would just scrape that part out.. If it had spread all the way to the cartilage, they would somehow clean that up.. They said there was some costal cartilage left from what I used before.. and suggested using that to do it again. What is this..?? I really don't know if doing it this way is okay.. For now, they said they need to open the nose and see, so let's do that.. Is this really the only method..?? They said before the inflammation spreads more, they should open the nose and check.. I feel like I'm going crazy not knowing what to do about this.. Please help me.. I still don't understand anything..
