Rather than seriously thinking it through, I only got a consultation at one place and didn’t really think about it; this was the only place I went for a consultation, but the price was more reasonable than I expected, so I just put down a deposit. Then the surgery date came up and I ended up doing it. First of all, the doctor isn’t friendly. On the day of surgery, when he was drawing on my face, he did it so roughly that I felt upset. It was really just swish-swish and done, to the point that I was flustered. I had a pre-op consultation for 5 minutes? So I think I didn’t communicate my opinion well.
My face shape has pretty prominent lateral cheekbones (peanut-shaped with a severe square jaw), so I asked him to shave down my lateral cheekbones a bit, and now when I touch them, he really did shave them all down. The line comes down smoothly to the jaw. I’m really satisfied with this. But he made the square jaw look too naturally angular, so from the front it’s not completely V-line. But I think that’s my fault for not communicating what I wanted.
Conclusion: among the 3 facial contouring procedures, I’m very satisfied with the cheekbones, disappointed with the square jaw, and honestly I can’t tell whether the chin tip was shaved. Still, I’m satisfied. The price is really reasonable, but I recommend going to several places instead of blindly choosing one place like I did. Until about 4 months after surgery, I kept thinking that if I could go back, I’d do it somewhere else. My square jaw was the stress of my life, so I made up my mind and paid a lot of money for it, but after spending the money it didn’t even show, so my mental state hit rock bottom and I fell asleep crying. Even my mom doesn’t know I had facial contouring done. She can’t tell. If I don’t tell my friends, nobody knows. If you’re looking for something natural, I recommend doing it here. But the biggest thing is that I did it recklessly, didn’t know my own ideal look, and just left it up to the director, so that was my fault. The atmosphere of the hospital itself and the consultants were really good. The people in the inpatient room were also so nice, and I was able to stay hospitalized for a day comfortably.
Still, the conclusion is that I’m satisfied. As long as you communicate your own opinions well, it will be a surgery you’re really satisfied with.
