Second Review of Asymmetry (Double Jaw Surgery)

Hello. I previously posted before-and-after information with these photos, and since many members wanted more updates after that day, I’m posting my second review^^ The first photos show my right-left asymmetry before surgery. The second photos are photos taken from one week after surgery^^ D+7 I had a checkup with the doctor at the hospital, and they removed all the stitches inside my mouth except for some. My mouth was still swollen, so when they removed the stitches, I had to open my mouth, but my lips were very chapped and cracked, so my lips hurt more than the stitches being removedㅠ(Lip balm is a must!!) I received a laser treatment that is said to help with bruising and swelling, then came home. At first, I was worried, wondering when it would get better, but now, maybe because I’ve gotten used to it or because it has improved, there isn’t much major discomfort. I can eat reasonably well too (porridge, yogurt, tofu, banana, etc., things that don’t put strain on the jaw), shower, and my nose bridge that had been buried in swelling seemed like it was slowly becoming visible..... but when I took photos, it really wasn’t haha;; Looking at the photos, I still look completely like Dooly;; Swelling doesn’t go down equally on the right and left sides, so for me too, one side is still a bit more swollen. D+10 Finally!!!! They removed all the remaining stitches at the hospital. Even though the stitches were removed, it still isn’t completely healed yet. For the wounds inside the mouth, you must gargle frequently.! Otherwise, it’s not good for wound healing. After removing the stitches, I received a laser treatment that is good for swelling and bruising, then came home. The laser definitely helps a lot. Since they said it was good, whenever I went to the hospital, I got the laser treatment no matter what lol;; When going out, if it weren’t for the bandage, I looked improved enough that people wouldn’t know I had surgery. Because of the residual swelling, my cheeks just look a little fuller, but people said it actually made me look younger, so I liked it haha;; lol;; D+14 The hospital said they would provide laser treatment as part of care, so I’ve been continuing to go receive it. Unlike what I had worried about, recovery has been fast, which was nice. These days, because my face changes little by little, when I wake up, I look in the mirror and start my day kyao Now the swelling is really disappearing little by little, and my facial features are slowly returning to how they used to be. I like that my face looks softer than before, but I’m so happy that I no longer have to worry about a painful jaw or different jaw shapes on both sides. Still, you have to be careful until opening your mouth fully recovers. Sometimes I forgot the limits of my own jaw and tried to eat something, opening my mouth wide, and I almost got into trouble a few times;; Also, people interested in double jaw surgery often ask when sensation comes back. Mine hasn’t completely returned yet either. I am gradually regaining sensation, but my lower lip and chin area still feel numb. If you send me a message with anything you’re curious about, I’ll answer within what I know as soon as I check it^^
