The estimate for incision double eyelid surgery, epicanthoplasty, ptosis correction, and lateral canthoplasty was 2.7 million KRW (including a review). Overall, both the consultant and the doctor were kind, but when I told the consultant I was debating whether to get lateral canthoplasty, she immediately talked as if it were essential, and the doctor also recommended lateral canthoplasty, so I was tempted. But another hospital advised against it, so I didn’t do it. It was good that they explained the surgical principles (like their hospital’s own lateral canthoplasty method...), but I got a strong feeling that everything was being rushed through. In the end, it felt too much like a factory-style clinic and like they were telling me to do too many things, so I didn’t do it there. I had put down a reservation deposit and later got it refunded. At first, they acted as if they wouldn’t refund the deposit, but after I thought about it for a long time, they said a refund was possible. I also didn’t understand why the refund had to go through the consultant, and I received the refund very late. Conclusion: estimates can differ by hospital, so make sure to diligently go around for consultations!!!
